I'm surprised we don't have a horde of new recruits knocking at our door. Guess fun wars and great benefits isn't good enough these days. 

To be fair, compared to the ODB war, this war is rather dull. That said, it's not at all fair to compare it to the best war most of us have been a part of since ranked wars got introduced, with an average of 2 pushes an hour and control changing hands constantly.

It's probably partially because we're still exhausted from that one and because ODB is a terrific dance partner in ranked wars. 

I truly hope you get a war against them at some point in the future so you'll see the difference.

Next time take the rigged war. You know what they say: DA can stay irrational longer than you can stay solvent.

I can only speak for myself but I'm sure I'll be traumatized for a long time after this one. Shortly after the war, my director trained me and the sudden 11 events gave me an immediate fight or flight response.

Other than that is has been an exceptional war overall, great work from both sides, nothing but positive interactions with the trouts and no shitheads taking it too serious (as far as I could tell).

Our financial collapse from the war might force us to go back to a bartering system, so some fish should do nicely. If you can offer a couple of shiny rocks as well, we're in business.

We would but we're suddenly poor after we had huge unexpected expenses the last couple of days. In fact, we were hoping you'd be open to paying a small member's fee if you join us.

We could always do that merger Beer was hinting at earlier. Surely some of the trouts are just there based on nepotism and we probably have quite a few borderline lame horses in our stable.

Of course I'd risk getting cut if we did do a merger, so maybe best to drop the idea.

To be fair, I wouldn't be at all surprised if Ched looked at the new matchmaking and figured we should get matched every week since this one was such a huge success.

It's the best war I've been in for at least a decade but let's agree to never do it again.

This is certainly a rough one. At times it almost feels nice and peaceful but then... out of nowhere... a small army of them pops up, like lemmings, scaly, wet lemmings. 

I'll never feel safe near a fish pond again.

When it comes to Beerstein, he doesn't even sleep when we're not warring. The bets only make him yell slightly more when everything goes tits up.

Hopefully this will be a good war. We're not supposed to be a retirement faction, so it's about damn time we show it.

I usually root for the trouts but just this once I hope they all get trout lice and have an uncomfortable time.

I'm not betting on this one as I'm both poor and scared.
