You're absolutely right. I won't know much about 99.9% of the people who play. Can't imagine anyone would. But the reality is that Torn is designed as a long term rewards game. So I just happen to be pretty particular about who I surround myself with.

I like having a broad range of topics to discuss. I'm not a huge gamer, so I like having someone there (like Jerz) who gets some of the things I talk about. Having other women doesn't guarantee that, but like i mentioned it my first post, having a strong, chatty female around to talk to is always nice. Strong, active females also influence the culture. And it's important. Whether it be a CIS female or transgender.

And no matter what you say, you are in some way formed by the body parts, skin color, etc that you're born with. it's all part of the human experience. It colors the lens with which you experience the world.

Ok... I feel its important to mention as a follow up that there is such thing as too much of a good thing though. Just as I don't want to be the only female in something, I definitely don't want to be in an all female anything... unless its an international pop group (but even that would be pushing it).

I found this information interesting. And for all the males who commented and were sarcastic.. Not surprised. I actually find a strong, female presence (whether its one strong female in faction/company who is chatty or multiple who interact) is important to my game play. I mostly play Torn to be social. And because training and fighting is a part of that, I do it. But I'm not logging in every day to spend my time with a*****es - point blank.

I don't have the chattiest faction, but they're respectful to women even though there's only 2 of us who ever talk.

My company, on the other hand, has a good number of women and I don't see myself leaving there. And even though my company owner is an ass hat in this thread, he's just a douche in general so we are accepting of him. :p

So yes, for some women, it is important to game play. Sometimes it says more about the environment than you'd think. But I guess guys aren't going to see that in general. Although, I would like to see more objective material considering the topics title.

I need it for many reasons... mostly so I can one day pull this as well and leave benevolently. While I'm here, I'd like for myself and my friends that I've gotten to play to have a good time. Here are a list of ways I'd put your donation to good use. :D

1. So I can afford the items needed to train myself and my friends up so we can actually keep the money when mugged.
2. To buy a lavish private island where I own an airstrip and flower running won't be such a painful event.
3. To invest in stocks so that I can secure a return on some of the money spent.
4. So I can roll in it ... come on... wouldn't you roll in a billion dollars that someone gave you?
5. Because I have a better chance of winning this than the actual lottery and I have to win something eventually to prove a higher being exists.

All of it just leads to having fun. So basically, I'd like your money so that my buddies and I can have more fun. And roll in it. Yes, mostly roll in it.
