Assuming it is not random, is there a known pattern or time in which overseas plushies (or any items really) are restocked?

Trying to figure if the odds are better in just buying other items and returning home OR waiting till they're restocked but risk getting attacked and being helpless at the hospital.


(Sorry if this has been asked before but I couldn't find any mention of the restock timing from any of the npc stores)
