Here's a rather... darker idea. That is to sell body parts of deceased animals for 'alternative medical research' as a way of getting money.
The other one is laundering poached ivory and rhino horns ect that have been smuggled over from poaching operations around the world. Also, exotic animals require exotic plants which can be valuable to collectors and biotech firms wanting develop new drugs or products.
I'd suggest either replacing the hunting bonus or bundling in a discount for flights considering zoos today form associations with one another globally and a specialist with high maintenance animals may have to take a trip across the world to supervise transfer and welfare of said animals. At the very least, bundle in discounted flights to South Africa with the hunting bonus.
Like Abu said, additional nerve from handling dangerous animals would be a good idea. That or higher speed gain from running away from said dangerous animals.
I was also thinking of obtaining cute/lol-worthy animal videos to sell for money.
I agree with those who are saying the zoo occupation bonuses are inadequate. I'm not sure how many of us regularly go to South Africa to hunt however and Ketamine isn't something I plan on stocking up on due to its effects. The additional awareness bonus isn't particularly useful either. The last bonus with accuracy is probably the most useful however if you're interested in fighting.
As it is, there's going to be a lot of job points I'm going to be accumulating. The incentives to spend them on extra happiness and ketmaine aren't very convincing. I'm sure better bonuses can be thought up so that Torn City's zoos won't become as endangered as the animals they're trying to save/exploit.
