Since ebcdic has not been seen in quite some time, I have decided to move the TravelRun github to a new home. While working on moving it, I saw that someone had requested some pulls to add json functionality, and have decided implement the changes suggested.
I am open to changes and suggestions, but thought I would throw this out there as a beta and gauge interest. I have been working with Mauk and the DOCTORN team to get TravelRun implementation into their project, so that hopefully will also be coming down the pipe.
During the beta, I am going to best testing requests and server loads to see what sort of stress is added (I am guessing not much). Once the beta is complete, if any changes are made, I will post an update!
Just a quick heads up, long story short the host forced me upgrade my php version, and travel run should be live again, might still come across a bug or two but they are being looked at!
I shot ebcdic a message and have not received a response yet, I did remove the bit of code that was inserting the ads, as it seems they were placed there intentionally. I have adblock on and have never noticed them, and am not on my mobile near as much so had not seen the ads...
As of now, the ads have been removed...
I have been hosting the site for ebcdic at no cost, so there is no reason there should be ads on the site. The code that was displaying the tags was not generating any revenue for the site, it appears to have been done for no reason other than strictly monetary reasons.
I have removed all but ebcdic and myselfs FTP access to the site, and as soon as I hear back from, I will post an update.
Being from my hosting, I sincerely apologize for any issues this has caused...
In the process of sending out the last of the gifts and reaching out to the winner before announcing. Will update this post shortly.
Thank you all for all the effort that was put into this, I do really appreciate it and hope my small token of gratitude is enough for those that participated, thank you again!
First and foremost, thank you ALL for such great submissions. This was really a tough one to pick! I have reached out to the person who designed the one I picked. Once I hear from them, I will update this post and my signatures.
I did also send out the last of the participation gifts, I hope they were enough for the amount of work everyone did on their submissions.
Again, thank you all so much! I truly do appreciate it!
oof, so many great ones, this is going to be a tough one to decide on! I just sent the next round of gifts out to the participants! Enjoy and thanks for entering!
Just saw your PS, of course! Everyone that has entered has put in work, and I want to at least compensate with something other than a brick... :) thanks again for submitting!
