I swore to myself i wouldnt make this forum post at all, but now that this moment is here, im too excited not to share it!

3.5 years ago, i met the most amazing person in torn i could have ever hoped to meet. she's stupidly funny, sweet and one of the most amazing people ive ever had the pleasure of meeting. i have never felt more secure or cared for, as i do with her, and there isnt anything in this world i wouldnt do for her. 

and after 2.5 years of being "together" and building a relationship based on open communication and mutual admiration for each other, i can now say our relationship is going to the next level. 

my in-game spouse, Arcadia has had her visa to Australia approved!!

(flights and everything all sorted, just need to pick a date that gives us time to get everything ready on both ends)

I cant even begin to tell you guys how excited i am for us to begin the next chapter of our lives together, and i look forward to the day we can join Kelsie and Kevin, Kerry and cir and many of my other friends in the community center <3

Torn's community has always been the reason ive played, and why i keep coming back. its always been my "rl", and i have learned so much from so many people that has genuinely shaped who i am as a person today.

finding my forever person is just icing on the cake now, and i cant wait to share the adventures we go on with everyone!

Hi Everyone!

Can anyone remember any of the details of the World War competition from 2013?

I was surprised to see i only earned the first place merit for Apex winning Elimination this year, and when i went around hunting, i found i had earned all the other merits in 2013



Confused, because i do not remember ever enlisting in Elimination before this year, it turns out that i entered the World War competition, and the merits were recycled when replaced by Elimination. Newspaper articles only go back to around 2015, so im struggling to remember any real details. 

is there a chance anyone remembers the top 3 finishers, how the competition worked, any other interesting details?

I am drawing a complete and total blank beyond remembering now that the competition exists. lol

hey so um, we were never battered lol

i actually voted no. 

though ive met some phenomenally good people this week which has been super enjoyable, it seems unless you're in the leadership group, you're just there to be pointed to a target and told to kill, and there has (at least for me in Apex) been a complete lack of drama to make the week interesting lol

if you dont want to farm noobs, have you tried....not doing that? lol

And GD never needed to turn on Apex. but it was an incredible missed opportunity to not put plans together for the 1v1. 

i know LDP irl and he would never do that.

this guy does not speak for Apex. 

with all due respect to GD, i dont think the flip (or lack of a flip) was where their main problem laid. 

and i totally get that they want to be gentlemen about the final two and all that.

but, i genuinely cant understand the decision not to prep and be ready for the final 2. assuming there was no firm agreement in place for Apex to win (which i believe there wasnt) its absolutely baffling to me that they simply werent ready for the 1v1 in any shape. 

if it makes you feel better, most of us dont even know why the hate is so strong from HV at us lol

this is absolutely outrageous and can not be allowed to stand. APEX have done me wrong.
