After much pissing around, several interrogations: buy and equip a Epinephrine hit him at least 9 times with a foot or something that doesn't kill him too quickly....Duke asks to break his legs. take it literally on this mission. 1 leg plus 8 or 9 hits...Duke's safe combination. Cracking up.
I've had a butchers every day for nearly 14 years now. Found stat enhancers, armour and weapons. Maxed out awareness usually at least find something even if it's a brick. Last few weeks now nothing.
I thought it was those pesky noobs changing the game AGAIN...last time I didn't find anything for a while I eventually found a super item.
Either I'm being very optimistic or its broken.

Great service even for those with a few bil stats. I thought I had missed my chance of getting those nooby merits.
