A Begginer's Guide to Spending Perk Points · 24 May 2025, 23:10 TCT · 1 like
I think both Baldr and you are right. In my opinion, newbies can start with the merits they deem most relevant and then later reset their merits to follow Baldr's guide. Not maxing a single upgrade is an interesting idea for the short term. For the longer term, Baldr's guide holds true. Maxing the most relevant upgrades makes sense because some upgrades are not attractive at all for a certain playstyle. For newbies and players with limited resources, your guide is worth exploring. However, I find both banking merits and life points not so relevant for absolute newbies. I would like to suggest crime XP instead.

Please help me. I have been doing theft crimes for 2000 theft crimes 'Bold Burglar'. I fulfilled the requirement since yesterday morning and still haven't triggered after more crimes and waiting to hopefully trigger as the next day changes. YATA shows I achieved it but I haven't.
