I think you should read your sources properly before you begin to write a load of total rubbish. "A law has just been passed in Iran". I don't need to be an expert to tell you that no such law has been passed. Your source clearly states that a "draft bill" has been brought to parliament. This sort of bill is extremely unlikely to be passed by parliament and will be vetoed.
I think you should revise what you wrote in your primary post. It is categorically incorrect and frankly, embarrassing. For someone who accused me of "writing a load of shit" is purely hypocritical. Pathetic.
Graveyard this thread please because it will be a waste of everyone's time unless Hades changes his erroneous thread information.
It's not a matter of you using a wrong word by mistake. The fact is you misinterpreted the entire news article which led to you making this thread. It's funny how you don't take into consideration the fact that you have been hypocritical. What an amateur mistake. What's worse is you directed your aggression towards me in order to hide your foolishness.
Do you guys agree with Obama's plans to launch air strikes across a sovereign nation (Syria) without its approval? I personally view it as a terror tactic employed by the US to undermine the authority of Assad. It is barbaric and can be construed as direct military aggression against Syria and her people (Not to mention the fact that it violates international law, something that Russia has constantly been accused of. Who will chastise the Americans and why can they break international law and not Russia?). She therefore reserves the legal right to respond militarily and intercept and destroy foreign military assets entering her air space. This of course will be translated in mainstream media as Syrian aggression against coalition forces who were trying to tackle the threat of ISIS. This is the perfect pretext to then launch a full scale military campaign against Asaad and remove him from power. If you are up to date with the situation about ISIS then you should know that recently declassified data reveals that the CIA new about the presence of ISIS and its huge funding it received from abroad. Now Obama is making a fuss about them so he can further advance his geopolitical ambitions across the middle east. How cynical of him.
Let's have a rational discussion about this topic please! And try your absolute best to not derail it. Persona grata!
Ignorant! That's just funny. For someone who couldn't even read a simple news article is hilarious! You are a joke and stop blaming me for your incompetence. You are the one that made a total ass of yourself and its just a shame that everyone else it prejudiced in support of you. Otherwise they would be reiterating what I have been saying. Absolutely shocking. It's just a shame that when you edited your post it also changed when I quoted you. Go back to school. And stop shifting the blame to others for your ignorant mistakes. It's bloody hilarious!
This is an interesting article that I have read earlier. It highlights Western duplicity and propaganda. It was written by a famous news reporter. I will share his part 2 which is even more intriguing and shocking later on. Please read through the whole article. It is most confounding. It begins as follow:
I'm confused. A few weeks ago we were told in the West that people occupying government buildings in Ukraine was a very good thing. These people, we were told by our political leaders and elite media commentators, were 'pro-democracy protestors'.
The US government warned the Ukrainian authorities against using force against these'pro-democracy protestors'even if, according to the pictures we saw, some of them were neo-Nazis who were throwing Molotov cocktails and other things at the police and smashing up statues and setting fire to buildings.
Now, just a few weeks later, we're told that people occupying government buildings in Ukraine are not'pro-democracy protestors'but'terrorists'or'militants'.
Why was the occupation of government buildings in Ukraine a very good thing in January, but it is a very bad thing in April? Why was the use of force by the authorities against protestors completely unacceptable in January, but acceptable now? I repeat: I'm confused. Can anyone help me?
The anti-government protestors in Ukraine during the winter received visits from several prominent Western politicians, including US Senator John McCain, and Victoria Nuland, from the US State Department, who handed out cookies. But there have been very large anti-government protests in many Western European countries in recent weeks, which have received no such support, either from such figures or from elite Western media commentators. Nor have protestors received free cookies from officials at the US State Department.
Surely if they were so keen on anti-government street protests in Europe, and regarded them as the truest form of'democracy', McCain and Nuland would also be showing solidarity with street protestors in Madrid, Rome, Athens and Paris? I'm confused. Can anyone help me?
A few weeks ago I saw an interview with the US Secretary of State John Kerry who said,“You just don't invade another country on phony pretexts in order to assert your interests.â€But I seem to recall the US doing just that on more than one occasion in the past 20 years or so.
Have I misremembered the'Iraq has WMDs claim'? Was I dreaming back in 2002 and early 2003 when politicians and neocon pundits came on TV every day to tell us plebs that we had to go to war with Iraq because of the threat posed by Saddam's deadly arsenal? Why is having a democratic vote in Crimea on whether to rejoin Russia deemed worse than the brutal, murderous invasion of Iraq – an invasion which has led to the deaths of up to 1 million people? I'm confused. Can anyone help me?
We were also told by very serious-looking Western politicians and media'experts'that the Crimea referendum wasn't valid because it was held under“military occupation.â€But I've just been watching coverage of elections in Afghanistan, held under military occupation, which have been hailedby leading western figures, such as NATO chief Anders Fogh Rasmussen as a“historic moment for Afghanistanâ€and a great success for“democracy.â€Why is the Crimean vote dismissed, but the Afghanistan vote celebrated? I'm confused. Can anyone help me?
Syria too is rather baffling. We were and are told that radical Islamic terror groups pose the greatest threat to our peace, security and our'way of life'in the West. That Al-Qaeda and other such groups need to be destroyed: that we needed to have a relentless'War on Terror'against them. Yet in Syria, our leaders have been siding with such radical groups in their war against a secular government which respects the rights of religious minorities, including Christians.
When the bombs of Al-Qaeda or their affiliates go off in Syria and innocent people are killed there is no condemnation from our leaders: their only condemnation has been of the secular Syrian government which is fighting radical Islamists and which our leaders and elite media commentators are desperate to have toppled. I'm confused. Can anyone help me?
Then there's gay rights. We are told that Russia is a very bad and backward country because it has passed a law against promoting homosexuality to minors. Yet our leaders who boycotted the Winter Olympics in Sochi because of this law visit Gulf states where homosexuals can be imprisoned or even executed, and warmly embrace the rulers there, making no mention of the issue of gay rights.
Surely the imprisonment or execution of gay people is far worse than a law which forbids promotion of homosexuality to minors? Why, if they are genuinely concerned about gay rights, do our leaders attack Russia and not countries that imprison or execute gay people? I'm confused. Can anyone help me? We are told in lots of newspaper articles that the Hungarian ultra-nationalist party Jobbik is very bad and that its rise is a cause of great concern, even though it is not even in the government, or likely to be. But neo-Nazis and ultra-nationalists do hold positions in the new government of Ukraine, which our leaders in the West enthusiastically support and neo-Nazis and the far-right played a key role in the overthrow of Ukraine's democratically elected government in February, a‘revolution’cheered on by the West. Why are ultra-nationalists and far-right groups unacceptable in Hungary but very acceptable in Ukraine? I'm confused. Can anyone help me? We are told that Russia is an aggressive, imperialist power and that NATO's concerns are about opposing the Russian‘threat’. But I looked at the map the other day and while I could see lots of countries close to (and bordering) Russia that were members of NATO, the US-led military alliance whose members have bombed and attacked many countries in the last 15 years, I could not see any countries close to America that were part of a Russian-military alliance, or any Russian military bases or missiles situated in foreign countries bordering or close to the US. Yet Russia, we are told, is the‘aggressive one’. I'm confused. Can anyone help me? Give a thumbs up if you agree. Thanks guys.
A common response their. People often respond in such a arrogant manner when they realise they have been embarrassed or typically run out of a defensive argument. I hope you trip over the spilt soda by the way! It's awfully funny that you called my "rant" "childish". What have you been doing over the last few posts? Hmm... more or less the same as me. So that too makes you childish fool! Double standards. You think your above the world don't you. Someone needs to take you down a peg or two.
Oh, I assume that makes you a role model for others if I am an ass doesn't it? Double standards! Your entire response was full of contradictions and lies. You evidently did lie yet now you are covering your steps by saying you didn't phrase the sentence properly. Learn to bloody write for gods sake. It's not my fault you can't write/type in simple English. What you did say however, was wrong and is categorised as a lie. "I remembered the no fly zone, which you claim wasn't true". Sorry am I missing something in that sentence? Stop wasting people's time with your ignoramus errors. I am perfectly justified in calling you a liar and that very quote is evident of that. You dipshit. You don't deserve my respect and I shall offer you none. You love to twist the facts don't you. You make a mistake (or so you say), I condemn you for that mistake (if I can even call it that), and then you shift blame on me. Your damn sentence didn't make any sense at all and an illiterate person would agree with me. "Perhaps I did not spell things out exactly". Jesus christ. Your damn sentence explicitly accused me of denying a no fly zone took place. Do I need to teach you how to read now? Learn to bloody read and write you fool.
You are a disgraceful human being, I have never seen anyone so conceited as you. Again, I must blame that because of your time in the NAVY. You continue to make excuses in the face of explicit truth. Just gtfo!
Maybe Hamas will stop after Israel recedes from the Palestinian territories that it has been illegally occupying for decades. Russia allegedly broke international law when it annexed Crimea and the whole world turned on it by applying sanctions. Israel has and still is breaking international law by annexing and occupying Palestinian territory for over 4 decades. Not one sanction has fallen on that nation! According to the UN charter, people have a right to defend their territory. That is precisely what Hamas is doing. For as long as Israel maintains its illegal occupation, Hamas will continue its struggle against apartheid.
Oh wow. Yes, maybe that's why millions of Muslims beat their women in the UK, don't allow them to drive cars and force them to stay at home (sarcasm). Face reality, it is only a handful of Muslims that mistreat their women on the basis of culture, not religion. Also, you are more than welcome to paste an Arabic sentence from the Quran where it condones such behaviour as a norm. Why don't we see beheadings of women in the UK which is home to a huge Muslim population? Why are they treated as equals? Why do I love and respect my mother more than my dad? I don't beat women, Islam teaches us nothing of the sort.
Also, I am not gonna bother arguing with you about what's happening in Iran. You evidently don't know how governmental systems operate and I just can't be bothered explaining it to you. I can't see the future by the way. But I can interpret political activities.
Aa I have said before, this is a draft law that has no chance of becoming legislative. So the story at this point is irrelevant and unnecessary. I don't know what you find so interesting about it.
It is not in the religion of Islam to mistreat women. That is just stereotypical. So don't make these prejudiced comments. It gives you no credibility whatsoever.
Finally, I don't see what else there is to discuss about this topic. Ask Steve, he believes that there is no such thing as staying on topic and it has a detrimental effect on forums.
In response to your question: of course I don't. But what I do believe is that this story has been given unnecessary attention. I would be more concerned by the fact that women are being extremely discriminated against in Saudi Arabia. We don't hear much about that in the media but instead, we get a flimsy report saying that a minority of parliamentarians in Iran want to make possession of dogs illegal. It's ridiculous. Mainstream media gives more attention to animals than that of people.
"90% of the rest of the world find such barbarity evil and shocking". I'm sure this feeling of contempt is mutually felt against the Israeli government. Have you heard of the latest crisis in Israel? Israeli security forces shot dead a man that ran at their vehicle attacking it. The man later stopped and began to walk away. Officers exited that vehicle and shot the man point black claiming their lives were in immediate danger. They also say they fired warning shots first to deter the assailant. However, local video footage shows that no warning shots were fired and the officers lives were not in danger. The security forces of Israel which have a duty to protect all citizens lied about the events and attempted to cover up a overt execution. This is totally unacceptable by international standards but has not received any or little media attention which I find shocking. What is your opinion on this particular issue? Do you believe Israel should come under more heavier scrutiny and should fully comply with international law (which it has failed to do for decades) or do you believe the status quo should be maintained allowing Israel to have "special status" in the world in which international law does not apply to them?
Well of course your a liar. You just lied. I didn't dispute that there was a no fly zone which you just accused me of. Seriously, when will your deception end? You have been wrong throughout this whole dispute. You claimed the no fly zone was implemented as a condition of the ceasefire which I have said numerous times is incorrect. Yet you flannel that. It's getting really boring now with you taking me around in circles. Seriously, show some bloody maturity for your age! Didn't life in the army teach you discipline or do they always encourage arrogance? You are a demeaning human being. You have consistently regarded me as a "kid" as though I am inferior to you. Don't underestimate others! And don't treat me the way you would anyone else. You are a despicable piece of work and I don't blame that on you personally, I blame the career path you chose. You must have had one hell of a upbringing to join the NAVY I must say.
What a little liar. How can you honesty go that low. I just typed in Google the outcome of the ceasefire and the source you provided was the 2nd result to pop up. It is highly probable that you did research it. You little sneaky liar! I think that just sums up the total argument. You are blatantly telling fibs and it is just primitive. It is an act of moral terpitude and reflects the sort of character you are. Might I ask how you found the URL? Let me guess, you just did some research and found it.
Well somebody has been doing their homework. I don't know why you are gloating as though you won a trophy. The fact is, the no fly zone was not an aspect of the agreed ceasefire. Something you continue to claim.
No need to panic yet, this draft bill will not be made legislative. It is only a minority of MPs that brought it forward. It will, and I must emphasise that word will, because it is highly improbable that this repressive, unnecessary law will be passed by parliament.
Like I just said, it's not about the word. It's your lack of being able to interpret a simple article. Additionally, I highly doubt it was only one word. Your just lucky this new quoting system is rubbish. At the end of the day, you only know whether it was a word or more that you edited. I frankly believe it was more but I can't be bothered to continue this trivial argument as I already know that your comprehensive abilities are poor. Case closed!
Fair enough, but how does it make Khomeini the declared leader of Iran when he received no international recognition. This is what I want you to explicitly answer.
It's bloody hilarious!
Wow. You little manipulative ignoramus. You said Saddam violated the ceasefire because he targeted NATO aircraft that enforced a no fly zone. However, as I said numerous times, a no fly zone wasn't part of the ceasefire agreement; something you claimed. You are pathetic. It's funny how you just flannel all my enquiries. Your duplicity has no limits.
I get my information from studying history at A-level as well as reading various history books. Not Wikipedia.
You seem eager to know what my results would be in future exams. Please do share with us your credentials. Since you say you worked in the NAVY I won't be surprised at what you disclose. The armed forces is a place for rejects who can't do anything else with their lives so they show subservience to a government.
I think you should read your sources properly before you begin to write a load of total rubbish. "A law has just been passed in Iran".
