Subject matter edit: The egg counter would alert you to when a egg was on screen or not.This would have to be a paid for by points counter, and at a rough estimate cost around 15-20 points per egg alert.Alternate option would be to have a screen pop up collecting the egg for you and costing you 25 points per use, so you would have to agree to it before hand.When you run out of points egg timer is disabled .It would be a very nice upgrade choice as well as take more points out of circulation, and help add stability to the market as far as donator packs and points are concerned .
I honestly believe this would make this event in particular (and any other similar event) much more fun and increase the users diligence in searching more often. This would benefit the game in more than mere average user activity increase though! The more they talk about this online game they play called torn, the more new users we will get, which sets off a chain of events more numerous than i can count.A few examples of this is Increased donations, increased drive to play, And free advertisement by one of the most effective ways in the world word of mouth! This could be applied to other special competitions such as Christmas town,Halloween town, Torn of the dead, and more.
I love this idea.This is what torn has needed forever. It adds a much needed personalised feel keeps torns economy rolling, and if that person quits passes away etc they will have their stuff used not wasted

Allow me to address the elephant in the room. You are either a man or a woman. very seldom is there a true hermaphrodite.That being said they identify with one or the other in most cases.
