I am not 100% sure this is the right place but my logistics company hasn't moved up to 10* even though for a month and a half the weekly income has been comparable to other 10*. And in the past three weeks has been in top 5-15 in weekly income of all logistics companies. Right now it is currently the 3rd highest overall. Maybe it is not a bug but I wanted to make sure since it this seems counter to what information is out there.
I don’t know, something about these items just don’t sit right with me, especially since they were RNG. If Prox with all his effort got one of them then at least it took 5 years of effort to get it and it’s theoretically within reach of people who dedicate time to it. Torn has always been a game of long-term dedication, sure you can make quick gains here and there but the long term follow up is critical.
While my day to day playing likely won’t be affected by these items, my game view has been impacted. Just having trouble seeing the point in the game when something so game altering (which these are) was just handed out in an activity lottery.
I usually have faith in this game, given I have been playing it for nearly 20 years. Even the most contested updates I could see a goal in them. These items seem counter to that goal. But in the end, it’s just my opinion and this post (or anyone else’s) won’t change anything.
Really just makes me wonder if RW weapons should be moved out of RW into a reward in the new OC 2.0 system and ranked wars become more efficient way to gain respect than chaining when you win (less efficient when you lose).
Then add some new faction perks/branches that are not directly battle related, maybe a financial perk branch (lower stock trading fees, some sort of company boost, or what not) so still money in it just not as direct path.
