Just got an 'easy' mission -- Standard Routine -- defeat this guy with his own private island, who is level 53 with 5000 logins more than me and over double my Torn playtime. I'm restricted to using only my fists or a clubbed weapon.



Another day, another bill not paid. Don't people understand it's my money? Not theirs. It's like some people don't get it until it's drilled into them. Ooh there's a thought. You got a drill? Maybe that's too far. Instead why don't you go give him a little tutorial with a blunt object, will you? Yeah, nice and subtle. No shooting, no stabbing. Just a baseball bat or your fists orsomething. Up close and personal.

The missions says 'defeat' not just 'attack'.

Is there a way to abandon a mission, or is this thing gonna be there forever on my mission list?

Edit: looks like it has a '3 days' hourglass and goes away after that? I'm too wise to even try this fight.

Yes, I blackjacked and lost. Duke came calling. I paid his fees for a bit, but I'm not all the time, so eventually I got a 'last chance' email (along with a few others) from him and... Duke mugged you and stole $316,241 [view] I was inactive and he mugged immediately as soon as I went into the city with no time lag.


When my bank account matured I paid him off completely and got a "Loan Shark" merit for it though. I think Duke and I won't be doing more business in the future. If I can help it.
