Want a faction that has high activity, fights hard and looks to get maximum fun out of Torn?

Here at ODB we have a different philosophy to the rest of Torn. Most HoF Diamond factions have given up on gameplay and are content to give their members 1-2 challenging wars a year (if that) with the rest of the time being a termed snoozefest. Taking 3 Xanax/day might be peak Torn for some - but not for us.

We fight wars every second week, and when we do, we give it our all. Real wars keep our fighting skills sharp, and we use our activity and interesting tactics to challenge the very top of Torn HoF. Despite a massive stat disadvantage, we didn’t back down against Monarch HQ, Chain Reaction, Carbon or PT-Family nor are we afraid of fighting a long war whether it ends in victory or defeat.

At ODB we go the whole nine yards to make sure wars are as fun as possible. When the war is right, we have rackets and passive income from faction investments we’re not afraid to dig into to set you up for success - needles, mercs, weapon and armour loans of some of the best stuff in Torn - we’ve got it all covered . We have amazing activity as well: it’s not unusual to see 60+ people showing up for pushes and we routinely pull off perfect multi-hour turtles. 

We have a fun and irreverent crew and we relax just as hard on non-war weeks and during training months with competitions, memes and a very lively chat. We have a good number of traders, RW gear experts and directors in the faction too for those looking to make or spend cash intelligently. And, most of all, we’ve got trout!

Our requirements are what you’d expect:

- High activity and being a team player

- Over 500m total stats (exceptions can be made for high activity newer players)

- Actively contribute to and participate in OC's 2.0

- Read mail!

We’ve got the normal perks for a 12m+ respect faction with some highlights being:

- Max Toleration and Voracity

- 17-18% Steadfast

- Full Criminality and 2N busts

- +10 Travel items and max rehab reduction

We also:

- 90-100% net profit from RW's goes to members

- $13.5b in OC income distributed to members just in Feb 26

- Provide xanax, temps & meds for wars

- Have armour & weapons freely available to loan

- Keep a full stock of candy & beer

- We alternate between 25e revives and aggression perks during peace time

As far as I understand it, (I'm probably wrong on some of this, it's been a while), each branch costs more respect per upgrade as you move along.

Because of this the optimal way to allocate perks is from most R spent to least, the "optimising faction perks" button does this for you. 

For example, say you have 300k respect and you put 200k worth into upgrades for Steadfast, 50k into Criminality, 30k into Voracity and 20k into Excursion then this would be the optimal way to order them. 

In this example, if you were to put Steadfast into Branch 4 then you would get way less perks from the 200k respect allocated than if it was in Branch 1.

This is what it should be all about.

A proper f**king war, a proper thread, even some drama and a little bit of salt. All in the name of good fun. Maybe not enough memes but that can be forgiven because it was still an entertaining read.

Major f**king props to 2.1, you deserve your flowers here. You showed up relentlessly and it's nothing short of impressive. We fought real hard and I'm nothing but proud of our performance, ultimately you were too tough for us to break this time. GGWP

Will be really looking forward to the rematch when it comes in like a year or however long it takes. Will be interesting to see, I think with a full roster we have a really good chance.

Andyman said it really well earlier in the thread. What's the actual point in playing farmville all the time?

And to any outsiders that may be looking in enviously, we try and do this every time we enlist, maybe come and see whether it's your cup of tea.
