If you want to stop wasting your time raise your price to 250-350k per train, then u'll find some people. These are the going rates for this kind of thing, the rates you're offering is asking for charity. I would also recommend using trade chat instead of forums - easier to find interested company owners that way.
Clearly your code base/servers can't handle intense competitions like these with a short window that matters. Upgrade/optimize or don't run competitions like these in the future. p.s. yes i'm butthurt.
I'm sure people who frequent trade chat a lot will understand what i'm talking about. There has been this attention seeking individual that has been spamming links to imgur with obscene pictures in trade chat from newly created characters for a while now. Apparently he has been following a pattern:
1) Make a new character 2) Post inappropriate links in chat room until you get thrown in fed jail 3) See step 1
Apparently people have told me that sometimes he would use obscene profile pics and spam legitimate/bargain trade offers in trade chat to entice people to open his profile, which will force them to view the same obscene pictures that are clearly against the game rules.
Now, i understand that the profile pic moderation requires manhours and even though we could limit that to profile pic moderation for brand new players only it's still gonna take a system to be setup and will need some staff to actually manually check and approve the pictures. This is something that is clearly a PITA to implement and maintain, so that's not what i'm offering.
TL;DR My suggestion is: Why not make all new chars ( created xx hours ago, be it 48, 72 or 96 ) unable to post links in chat. This way offenders like him who wanna take the time to keep making new chars will have to make them in batches, and wait a few days before starting the spam = when they get banned you can look at the other accounts registered from the same IP address and ban the rest of them before he can use them.
I really don't see the benefit of brand new characters being able to post links in public chat channel - they're usually the ones asking questions and receiving links from experienced/veteran characters as answers.
This thing with the links is especially true for a channel like trade chat, where in all honesty all links not originated from www.torn.com should not be allowed at all. The moderators are trying to keep the channel clean of small talk, which is an admirable job and they could use some help in this regard.
And this idea, unlike the profile picture moderation doesn't seem to require that much work and would not require much human supervision - just a few regular expressions and some testing.

I see. Well thank you for your input - i was hoping to get 110m which i think is pretty fair, but that might not happen i guess - if i won't get any takers during this week i guess i'll follow your advice.
And by stating "no lowballing" i was mostly trying to get rid of "85mil bro" offers, so don't take it too literally - i'm not in the league with people who can wait for months with a bazaar full of mid-high roll versions of items so i'm not asking for much hehe, just don't want to get completely ripped off :P
You used to be able to change your bet to a bigger one without having to cover the whole bet from the money you had on hand. For example : You had a 10mil bet on, you had 2 mil in your wallet :P.. You could change the bet to 12 mil without having to cancel and make a new bet. As of today, looks like you can't do that anymore. You have to cancel your current bet and place a new one. Which really sucks for people who use the bookie as a bank. Was wondering if this is a bug or was this an intended change?
Be patient.. Reds with that crime send you to the hospital instead of jail - so you don't lose any CE. Keep doing arsons and you'll get there :) Make sure you have all the crime exp boosts you can get - law city job special, psych degree, merits, etc... To reduce the rate of failures.
Solid info, thanks. I got my medal a few days ago, but it was easier for me - i returned after years of inactivity and nobody cared who i was lol.
One thing i want to add - if you're a cheapo like me and if you're gonna be doing 500 streak by attacking yourself - use a stealth melee weapon like makana. I only got randomly attacked once in the last 3 weeks (that ruined the first out of my two attempts at 131 kills in a row) and the reason for that was - i was mugging people with a weapon that wasn't very stealthy.. The guy later told me in chat that he was watching the hospital and if he noticed someone was mugging people he'd mug the mugger if he thought he could take him for a good chance at some $$$.
Obviously maybe i got lucky but on my second attempt i barely even travelled, just stayed in torn and logged in every 4 hours to pop a xanax and dump my energy. If you don't use chat, don't trade and if u're not in a faction you'd be surprised how very few (if anyone) actually give a shit about you.
Good luck in getting your killstreak, it's def possible for any noob if u're persistent enough.
