Hi Everyone. just thought i would create a post for all the jiu jitsu players in torn if there are any?

i am starting jiu-jitsu soon i bought my gi and everything, i am a bit nervous but also excited, my friend from work has been dong jiu-jitsu for nearly 2 years now he recently got his blue belt, is there anything i need to know before starting? any tips or advice from any experienced jiu-jitsu guys or just anyone that does jiu-jitsu on here?
