Hello, new player?

This guide will help you with what should be your main goal when starting fresh, it will not teach you everything there is about Torn but will give you a heads up on what you should aim for, so once you complete the goal you can learn most things by experience.

Most players do not understand what they can do in this game and end up leaving a couple days later, but you're not going to be one of them.

Let's start with the basic. What we want to do is reach level 15. That is our main goal here.

How do levels work and how do I level up?

You might have noticed by now that you can't see your experience to level up, it is hidden but that does not mean you can't level up.

As seen in the image above "Increase life to 3,637", so a player leveling up to 51 will increase his life/HP, and this goes for every level, every levelup can increase your maximum life/HP by 25/50/75.

From Level 1 to 10 it increases by 25 life/HP

From Level 10 to 95 it increases by 50 life/HP

From level 95 to 100 it increases by 75 life/HP

Now, for leveling up, there are different methods of receiving experience. Attacking is the most rewarding, after killing someone you get 3 options.

• Leave - You leave him be and receive the most experience from all the options.
• Mug - Steal some cash and receive less experience.
• Hospitalize - Put him in the hospital for longer and receive a lot less experience.

Training in the gym and doing crimes will also give you some experience, but a lot less compared to attacking.

How do I get money?

This is vital at any point of the game, for new players the best source of income is to find someone in trade chat or the Attacking forums that pay for losses, that is, you attack and die to that player and he will pay you an x amount, this usually goes around $200,000 - $350,000 for each time you lose. After losing you will be in the hospital for 20-25 minutes in which you can help reduce it instantly and leave the hospital with a single First Aid Kit ($25,000) found in the Item Market under the Medical Supplies category.

This enables you to lose and get money fast, a drug named Xanax ($840,000) gives 250 energy which is enough for 10 hits making $2,000,000 - $3,500,000, you get your cash back with profit so keep that in mind if looking to start up with good cash.

But let's not focus that much on that, once you hoard $17m, you can do a premium train.

Premium Train

You're wondering, why hoard $17m? For a good training you must have the following ready:

• 4 Xanax ($3,360,000)
• 5 Erotic DVDs ($12,250,000)
• 25 Points ($1,325,000)
• 1 Ecstasy ($72,000)

How to get these?

The xanax, erotic dvds and ecstasy can be bought in the Item Market found in the city, as for the points you can buy them in the Points Market.

How to do this training?

Start using the first xanax with 0 energy, each xanax will give 250 energy and do not spend any of it, you can stack energy up to 1000 energy and that's what we're looking forward to with 4 xanax.

After the stacking is done, make sure you don't have any booster cooldown at all (this information can be found in icons above your information about level, cash, etc, so make sure you don't drink alcohol nor eat candy before this), then look to the clock and make sure it is NOT near the 15/30/45/00 minutes as the happiness resets at that time and make sure you don't have drug cooldown anymore, after this procedure go ahead and use the 5 Erotic DVDs then an ecstasy.

Now you're ready to train and get good gains, use all your 1000 energy between your 4 stats, refill with your 25 points and train between them again. This is not the best way to train your stats using the Super Train, but dividing between your stats will allow you to pick off targets easier and reach level 15 which is what we aim for

I overdosed! What do I do?

This is natural, it can happen but you'll get revived by a player at any moment do not worry, the real problem is you'll have a 24 hour drug cooldown now which means you'll have to wait that long before you can start stacking again, do a couple more losses to get cash for your xanax back while you wait, if you overdosed on the ectasy, you'll wait to do it all over again but do not worry, this is not very common.

I trained, what now?

Now you got some good stats to defeat players and get leveling, here is a list of players with their stats, find out if you can beat them or not by comparing your stats with them, make sure you buy a weapon and armor in the Item Market as that is essential in fighting.[image: image.prntscr.com]



To get on these players profile, go to the search bar on the very top and type the player's name or ID:

When you kill one of these targets, leave them for the most experience.

I reached level 15! What can I do?

Now you can finally travel, which can be found in the city, it is called "Travel Agency", make sure to get yourself some spare money to rent a Private Island, you can find this in the Newspaper > Properties > Rental > Private Island, look for Private Islands that have the Airstrip which is this icon:

With this, you'll be able to travel faster, carry more items with you from countries and travel for free which is super effective to make cash.

You will travel to countries to buy flowers/plushies to sell them for higher, making good cash every trip.

The best profit countries would be: China and United Kingdom, but feel free to try out other countries, time it with your timezone and get your best possible timings right.

How do I sell my flowers/plushies for money?

Click on the chat called "Trade", in this you can look for a trader willing to buy these items, if you don't find one, just write "Selling flowers/plushies" in there, but do not spam, once every 1 minute is good (you won't even have to).

Now, for picking a trader to exchange your flowers/plushies for cash you need to be careful and find a trusty one that won't mug you or scam you, look for traders with good friend to enemy ratio.

Once you find a trader, he will most likely start the trade and you'll be able to go there through your new event or by going to the trade icon near your booster cooldowns, then go to the "Add Item" in the trade and add your flowers/plushies. Wait until he adds your preferred cash and then accept, enjoy your cash and don't forget to store it!

If he's the one who asks for you to start the trade, head to his profile and click on Trade icon near the other icons such as attacking, it will redirect you to the trade link with his name set-up and ready to send trade, send him the trade and do the previous steps only this time you're the one waiting for him to accept first.

Search in this Guide for ways to store your cash, it is important so you don't get mugged by other players.

Joining a 10 Star Adult Novelties company would help the training with the following specials:

Indecent (Passive) - 100% bonus to Erotic DVDs

Voyeur (20 Job Points) - Erotic DVD (useful to spend the job points in, but the most important here really is that passive)
