1) confession while sober/fully aware, knowing what one is getting into.
2) 4 adult male witnesses who are know to be good and who saw the "act" happening (we saw them getting in the room and making noises and when we entered they were naked) doesn't cut it.
Stoning cannot be used as a punishment for any other crime and adultery is next to impossible to prove, if it didn't come from a direct confession.
