I'm asking because you seem convinced that Kirk was shot because many people with different political opinions called him names. Either that, or you're simply trying to tone-police the world, which is ironic because MAGA influencers have accused everyone else of doing for years. 

By your logic, the vitriol on Laura Loomer's Twitter and Trump's Truth Social page could get all Democrat and Independent voters killed.

Did the right (& Kirk himself) call for calm when Paul Pelosi was attacked? No. When 2 Democrat state senators were murdered in June, the right offered conspiracy theories, not condolences. 

What say you to those on your flank blaming half the country for Kirk's death and calling for war?

Here are two lesser-known executive orders from day 1 of Trump 2.0

1. An order granting Trump's White House staff TS/SCI clearances without first undergoing traditional vetting procedures.

2. An order revoking security clearances for the 51 former senior intelligence officials who, in October 2020, signed a letter saying they believed the Hunter Biden laptop saga had "the earmarks of a Russian information operation.” The order also revoked John Bolton's clearance. Guess John should have testified in the Senate, after all.

Many people who said this simply did not care about Harris's policies. They did not care for her at all. Harris & DJT had just one debate, & both dunked on each other and talked policy. 

Mocking crowd sizes? DJT started that. He obsessed over it during the 2020 campaign. I agree that some people saw the proceedings against Trump as lawfare, particularly the classified documents case. 

The Democrats don't need extensive soul-searching, imo. They can just wait. DJT talked a big game, & everyone is waiting to see how he plans to deliver.

If the prices on the shelf & at the pump don't drop (and stay down, if they drop), then he'll be blamed. No amount of propaganda will change that. If any new conflicts arise, it will be on him too. 

DJT will be almost 79 when he's sworn in. If he loses a step due to his age at anytime in the next 4 years, everyone will hear. Even misspeaking will not escape scrutiny. 

I believe winning the information war (I.e., propaganda & misinformation) played a huge part in DJT's re-election, but it won't be as effective when he's in office.

You used a wall of text to hide a line admitting that DJT is also a liar. 

The right & DJT have been dunking on Biden for years, so trying to claim that Democrats lost the 2024 presidential election because many of them dunked on Trump is funny.

Propaganda and misinformation thrived on both sides of isle in the time before the election, but the ones from the right were louder. That, imho, is why DJT won.

But the right will soon learn again, much like Biden & Dems did, that propaganda is not as effective when you're in office because you'll be held responsible for everything, including events outside your power of influence.

That's populist talk. 

Trump had his own celebrity circle and endorsements. Both sides lied and bragged about endorsements in a bid to outdo each other. TLDR: They were both a-holes. 

I believe Trump won simply because his message of economic restoration resonated better with Indies and even many Dems. The populism stuff only energizes his far-right base. 

I agree that the thrashing is good for Democrats. They can withdraw, get in touch with the people, and better understand their concerns. If they do that right, they can be competitive during the midterms. 

You're overreacting — and this is coming from someone who wanted Kamala to win. 

Ignore the rage bait from Trump's fringe 35% or so base. Moderates broke heavily for Trump in this election. It shows that the Democratic party lost touch with the issue bothering these voters the most: the economy.

If you voted for who you believed was right and the person lost, why meltdown? Just shrug it off and move on. One huge disadvantage of being an incumbent is that you'll be blamed for whatever happens, whether or not you're at fault for it. It's Trump's turn now, and if he or his party makes so much as a misstep, you can bet that Democrats will be there to call him out on it. The electorate will eventually swing back to the middle.

So take a chill pill.

Why cast blame?

The truth is - DJT outperformed his 2020 numbers in most states because the people wanted him back in the White House. 

Whatever happens in the next 4 years (inflation, skyrocketing prices, etc.) will be on the people in charge, and no amount of misinformation will change that.

So, sit back, relax, and let the people enjoy who they asked for. Lol.
