Hello, long time no speaks! So, I just had a little play about in C4D to see what I could do (It's been a long time since i've had a play) And this LA, or desktop background, is what I came out with.
I would appreciate some CNC and honest opinions / Would you buy it? And if you would, how much would you pay :)
I dressed up as a grim reaper and went down the road to the retirement home with a smoke machine and a Scythe. I think I scared some of the old people.
He likes to sleep, And hide the treats from all the girls and boys. But once a year The hamster is here to gift out all the toys! Halloween is the time to be scared, but The Hamster is about, so be aware!
If you're after a great system that is capable of withstanding heavy programs, without difficulty, and great with multitasking heavy programs, then look at my setup on my profile. I do GFX designing as well as AFx, but that's only a hobby. I also game, these two aspects are what I built my machine around. but solely for GFX and AFX, it's a mad machine.
I recommend this: i7-4790K Asus Maximus Hero VII Choice of case, with good air flow, or get a mid ATX with a CPU cooler, that's what I have. You'll want a good cooling system as the CPU will be under heavy loads. So it will need a lot of good cooling. I recommend the Corsair H100i CPU cooler, it's a closed loop water cooler, with a radiator and two fans to exhaust hot air, (you can change them to pull cool air, just flip them). 16GB DDR3 Ram, anything will do really, but go for Corsair Vengeance Pro or G. Skill Rip Jaws. Graphics card, right, I have a Nvidia GTX 970, so far, I only have one. But I will probably SLI in future (Parallel link 2 of them) now as you're graphics designing, this would be GREAT for it, a 980 will be overkill. But if you start worrying you need more, then go for a SLI or just get a GTX 980. You will no doubt need a 750W PSU Bronze Plus certified, min. This set build will last you for a LONG Time, and will be good for the next 10 years or so.
This will blow your budget out of the water. I have similar + slightly better, it cost me £1400 GBP (and I was bargain hunting). I unfortunately have no idea what the exchange rate is. But that build woulr be more than perfect, and will last.
The corsair H100i cooler is a closed loop water cooler, absolutely Zero maintenance with amazing results. I will be going over to the water cooling side very soon, as I'm either going to SLI 3-way GTX 970 or SLI 2 way GTX 980 with a 5920K CPU, my OC at 5GHZ its completely stable. I ran a stress test for 48H and without a problem, sailed through. It's one hell of a machine as is.
Check out my build on my profile. Overall it came to about £1200 GBP. But I wanted an extreme machine.but by no means does that make mine a machine. It's up there though.
Thanks for your input, it was a very basic manipulation that I did to see if I could remember things, I just threw bits and pieces together. I will be creating more, and using AE CC to include more detail / effects. This is simply the most basic version you could get.
