make it so that companies actually add things to the game, affects in game item spawns or goods and services can actually be bought from these companies (closest thing we can get to the last one is the use of JPs for company perks, eg, flight delays)
give players the ability to buy "stocks" in any company as a actual game mechanic, even better idea is the performance of companies can affect certain stocks or new stocks can be created that is directly tied to companies and their performances and profits
