Any tips on how to earn money while travelling? · · 11 likes

Nope

I've traveled to over 22 Countries in Europe now and spent £800 for the whole thing.

The best way you can do this is; google jobs for travelers, for example: "temporary bar work", focus on that timing, then travel before, get the money, and travel after, they can be like 'pit stops', I did bar work in barcelona, milan, zagreb, bled, and prague!! I was away a while lol.

Even if you can only get one or two, you can still go for a while. You google the best hostels in the areas of the place youre going, like the busiest ones, and then ask about their volunteering. You can volunteer at the hostels, you work like 8 hours a week, washing sheets etc, and you stay there and get your meals for free! This was the single best thing I did as you meet so many people, you have such a good time.

Also, for actual travelling, dont do trains, that was my mistake. If youre going to europe, use flexxibus, 99 euros for 5 city to city transport, could literally be from Edinburgh to rome, as long as it was direct! So much cheaper then the trains, and theyre all air conditioned, have wifi and so much room for the seats to go back like a bed.

Whereas the trains were the Countries national ones, so some didnt even have air conditioning and the beds were horrible.

The countries are so close in europe you could even use blablacar. Its a travelling app where people who are travelling via car to the same destination can pick you up and you share the cost of the fuel, its actually really good.

If you arent going europe youll have to check google for american or wherevers equivalent

Other than this, there are couch surfing sites that my friend has used all over europe, america, canada, australia and new zealand, which is pretty cool I think!

Hope this helps!

always make sure you have enough money to go home and if youre going through europe you can buy pretty cheap fully comprehensive insurance covering you from robbery to hospital fees.

Someone mugged you and stole $8,359,200 [view] 2017/08/084:50:38 PM

Now I've been around on this a while but I'm pretty much a casual player. This has happened a few times, it's annoying when I only make a couple mill profit off this anyway, and this happens more than too often. It happens when I list items of value as well.

I think it would be good if there was an hour, to a few hours grace period, subject to change on whether you're in a faction etc..

But just to stop this initial digging because it just takes a toll on the game time after time of it happening. I don't know, maybe this is just me? How do you all feel about it?

this has been recommended by friends, otherwise I would just google 'temporary' or 'seasonal' bar work or something of little commitment in the country of your choice, my advice would be to work in the really popular areas; IE. Prague, Budapest, etc. This way, you can get money and find a job quickly.

I hate those 'pay to work' places. Complete BS: I suggest actually googling farmwork etc, and I wouldnt work in africa as a european, not the best environment. Just travel (if you can)

on the Hostel front, as I said, google 'best hostel in (country/city)' and then get their email, and ask about their volunteering.

thats about it really, just do some small planning for when you want to work and have some things for free, and then try to be as spontaneous as possible!

that go so annoying xD He'd come out of nowhere on mine as well, but I tried to stay neutral on my first run but ended it with the minutemen, I don't completely rate the BOS storyline on this tbh, but I do like the institute

    Thanks.

Yeah I get what you mean. It's hard though, I love this game but it keeps on hitting me, I'd have to pay nearly 14m a time for trades, I'd have to incorporate the cost and by time I've done that I've made a loss or it would be too far above market price to sell :/

Its just the small things like that, that get to you tbh. Thanks for the reply

I completely agree Ezra. Mental health is the problem more than actual firearms.

I'm from quite possibly the worst, poorest area in the UK and even still there isn't much gun violence.

Now, I have a firearms license and no longer live in the area, but I do not completely agree that firearms are the whole problem. Firearms have never been completely fluid and available around in the UK like they have in America, which is why it is so easy to put legislation in place to keep a good tone on it, I mean its terrible, I had to declare what firearms I wanted, what for, what gun club, where stored and have a background check and a police interview BEFORE I purchased the rifles.

Now, I do agree that Firearms in America could possibly be toned down (like only small semi-automatic weapons) for example. Or have a vetting process like the UKs to deter people from buying one out of it being tedious to decrease the firepower one person could possess, but I dont think that firearms are wholly to blame.

If both governments could get off their arse and look after mentally ill ex vets, and all people who suffer from mental illnesses and find better ways to tackle this, then there would be such a dramatic fall of crimes with firearms.

    Jheez. That's a lot!!

Are you from America? I would not even have a chance to get my hands on a lot of them!

I've done archery in the past, The thought of it has not really passed my mind though. I enjoy going the gun club in my spare time and shooting .22LR upto .357! I've shot 5.56 and 7.62 from 300yrd and would really like to continue it but the problem is that its a really expensive hobby in the UK, and being a student with only a part time job I can barely afford Small bore :P

Yeah nothing like getting a bull!! All them breathing exercises worth it in the end though eh? ;P

I would really like to do clay pigeon more than I currently do (once a year) as that's a really good sport! SO much harder to hit a moving target! I suppose forest shooting would be cool! You do any competitions?

I prefer small bore shooting it took me 3 years to do it, its my favorite sport but I live in England so its really hard to get hold of a rifle and join a club!!

50-100 yard target or vermin shooting is my preference. You?
