This game is a massive time-sink, and I view a lot of it as being undesirable in terms of the effects it has on others who dwell here

But it's a bit of a chicken or the egg scenario isn't it

This has to be one of the most insane people I have ever encountered in my entire life. I am proud for my role in getting her 86'd. This is going to be a long one, but I'll put a TL;DR at the bottom. 

Introducing HotterThanHer aka Chaz_The_Spaz 

Let's rewind to August 27th at 2:05am TCT. 

I was casually chatting in global, as one does, when all of a sudden, the largest wall of text I have ever seen in global appeared. To give you an idea of how big it was, when I tried pasting it into Discord to show my faction mates, it converted it into a 6kb text document. I then waited a moment to see if they would apologize, and when they didn't I reported them for spamming and put 10 bounties on them. 

What was it they pasted? Some stupid movie script they presumably wrote with AI. 

When I placed the bounties, I thought it amusing, and promptly completely forgot about her existence. But then, a couple minutes later, I got a message!

Even if this was a leading member of Monarch, my response would have been the same. But coming from her, I was amused. 

So after that message, I simply had to respond. 

This really ticked her off. She then reported me for Harrassment. She then told me to die!

She then threatened to burn my faction, The Black Pearl, a 9.6m respect faction, to the ground.

I then blocked her, which I never do. It was time to start.

I started with a wave of 100 bounties. A bunch I'm sure will expire, but that's okay.

I then got a guy to hack her company, since she was a director of her company (Before she later dissolved the company as a result of my campaign).

This is about what I was expecting. It was always just going to be an expensive message (expensive on my part).

Next up was a wave of embargoes against her and her faction mates

While doing all of this, I was hospitalizing all of those who were online. Until they started flying to avoid my attacks. Which of course then led to some flight delays.

Eventually, their leader, who was also the in-game spouse of HotterThanHer//Chaz_The_Spaz, messaged me

We talked for a while, and out of respect for K1LLDOZER I won't share all of the screenshots here. But apparently this is something she had done before 

Eventually, we came to an agreement. K1LLDOZER would divorce HotterThanHer, and once they were done the war and no longer roster locked, she would be kicked out. As we can see, it looks like both are in the works.

I also received a message from their co-leader

I explained the situation to him, we talked back and forth for a bit, and he gave me some insight as to what was going on behind the scenes.

And then, I got another message from the leader K1LLDOZER

You read that correctly. She had BANK PERMS. 

I had unblocked her to ask her if she had anything to say for herself, and I guess she did.

Because of this whole fiasco, I felt bad for K1LLDOZER, and so I organized a little gift drive for him.

Purge, with no connection to myself to be clear, also decided to reimburse him for the amount stolen. I had nothing to do with this part. Just mentioning it as it's part of the story.

There were some other people involved in this story as well. Events that were amusing at the time, but now I feel bad that they got swept up in the drama, and so I won't mention them here.

She has also been banned for 14 days before for "Multiple Offences" 

Anyways, this concludes the story for now, but the drama continues. I've messaged the director of the company she joined up with. I can't imagine she'll be there long. Same thing will happen when she is kicked out of her current faction. 

Tl;Dr - HotterThanHer/Chaz_the_Spaz, someone with a history of getting into drama, and manipulating people into keeping her around, pasted a 6kb wall of text into global, got bountied for it, freaked out and wished death on the person who bountied her (me).

I then mugged her entire faction, and hit them with a bunch of embargoes, flight delays, and hacked her company bank balance, until they reached out. She then robbed her faction's bank balance. She's now divorced, soon to be kicked out of her faction, and will remain homeless in this game until she's inevitably fedded.

This is going to be extremely unpopular, this is okay, I am here for data.

The levelling system should be modified so that experience is gained based on stat differential, as opposed to solely being based on level differential. 

Most people decided at some point to power level by farming low stat high level n00bs. That's probably a good chunk of our level 100s (RIP gpops, cockynudist, etc). If we're being honest, this system wasn't designed well, but we don't care because we like high numbers. 

But now being level 100 doesn't really mean as much. 

My proposal, after making this change to the experience system, is to retroactively modify everyone's levels so that their level is accurate based on the experience they should have received. I'm not sure how practical, if at all, this would be for Torn to calculate, but I'm really just looking for the discussion side of things here to see what people think about this idea and the levelling system in general. 

A game meant to be played for 20 years where you reach max level in 3 doesn't jive 

Ah sorry, one caveat to that is it'll take about 24hrs for Mozilla and Chrome to update the extension, apparently.
