I am not sure I feel quite the same angst as the person that began this thread, but I am a little salty. I am 3/4 finished with Duke's 5000?? missions. Most have been fairly easy until Defeat Duke. Seriously? I'm a level 40. So, I implored my faction members, and was directed to the forum. I posted and attempted a joint attack. The resounding advice from everyone, just pay this one dude 40 million to win. Okay, so that's half of my savings, so um no. Fail.

I thought, no biggie. I will move on.Then I fail the Motivator mission, lose to eblkxchaos. I dropped everything, no weapons, no armor and still won.

No biggie, moving on.

NOW, place a bounty and hit the person that claimed it. Well, it was claimed stealth so I only have a million or so players to hit to try and complete the mission. I am Tenacious, but yeah it looks like I am failing again.

Any advice?

I also remember when the token shop had a bunch of banners to try to save up for. Now, I have tokens that I can only use to "change my hairstyle" Look you idiots, I'm wearing a helmet! I don't give a damn about my hair!

Oh my, this is delicious!

I too had several time outs during this recent downtime. With an entire day and a half inaccessible, my Fireworks mission failed and consequently:

• Expend 2,500 rounds of ammunition (67 / 2,500)

• Agent standing decreased

This mission should be marked as completed. I tried incessantly to log on and when I was successful over the 2 day down period, I was hospitalized due to a time-out error message.

We're planning a total outage between 15:00 to 18:00 TCT this Sunday on the 8th of April.

We'll be installing two new database servers as well as other general maintenance during this time.

It's possible the site could be slow to recover after opening also as Torn recovers.

Did you complete that mission? I was just posting in another thread regarding this and I heard that bodybagger won't allow you to combine fees to complete the mission.

I'm an idiot. I reread the last mission regarding stealth. I am supposed to defeat the person I placed the bounty on, not the person that claimed it. But I stand by my outrage about the Duke mission, lol. It is a scam to get Bodybagger 40 million per hit. He/she won't let you combine your funds to get a hit either. Ched's buddy?

Motivator, is past tense. I did all except take Xanax. Oh well.

I'm still in, and weekend is fine, although I am working. I will be home by 9pm CST, so 3am Torn Time? I am trying to grab a couple of faction members as well.
