Absolutely disgusted by the way how Ched and his so called 'staff' are handling these sorts of threads outlining suggestions, these days. There has been no visible progress made through suggestions given to the staff, as well as no issues/concerns rectified agreeably by both the staff and players. Players are the foundations that keep Torn alive, through becoming subscribers, buying donator packs and so on. But what I don't understand is, Ched is failing to reciprocate the support that is shown to the game. Torn doesn't realise that the players are like a double edged sword. If we stop playing the game, they lose the income that keeps the game running and consequently the game dies.

Also, why is it taking so long (over 3 days now) for bookie payments to be processed? Get you stuff together Torn.

I don't know if this is the right thread but, currently suffering through a major depression in my life, I've lost control over my own life, I don't know how to regain it back, I've seeked professional help over the past few month/s but it hasn't made me feel any better, I'm starting to lose hope, what is left of this life of mine? Thanks guys...

Every time a new patch is released, I always see Dmitry working on Bookie 2.0. He's been working on it for such a long time. What is he working on that's just taking so much time to complete and would it be worthwhile for Ched to delegate some of the workload of the new Bookie system, to other staff members (e.g. Software Engineers/Developers) who may be capable of working on it and can reduce the workload and bring the official release date of the new Bookie system forward? The maximum Bookie bet limit whilst these works are taking place is quite annoying and we've been waiting for such a long time for this new system. I understand that changes like this can take time, however this has been going on for many months now and it's getting quite annoying and also repetitive, seeing Dmitry working on the same project day by day, week by week, month by month.

You also make a valid point- coding is not a walk in the park. Things go wrong. It can be trial and error. I'm not critiquing the coding part of the project, but rather the turnover, expectations and deadlines. I'm a donator of this game and so are you. We do deserve to have an input and also deserve to have answers, especially with projects that have been dragging out for such a long time, that we are starting to question if it ever will be released. We're also not sure if Dmitry is working on this for only a few hours a day, for a week or if he's working on it 9am-5pm, 5 days or 7 days a week. If we were given further information regarding the project, then I think I wouldn't have made this thread and respected the whole idea of a 'project', in which there is publicly accessible information regarding its status, deadlines etc.

Yeah all tabs have been closed. It is also an issue that I've come across before. Travel chat is always enabled for me. The issue seems to have been ironed out by itself, but with no input from me.

I recently flew to China and then flew back. Ever since then, the China chat tab is still there. Chat can be opened and interacted with.

I am using Google Chrome, haven't tried any other browser. Everything is up-to-date. If I log out then log back into Torn, the chat tab is still there.

Hi I'm looking for a very chill faction that has some very good perks, especially for stat gains, travelling etc.
Minimal chaining (like once a month or even less) but more-so a training oriented faction is what I am after.
After down to earth people, bonus if faction leaders/members are predominantly from Australia.

With all the controversy that just keeps popping up with Eliminations, it has been nothing but an absolute disaster this year. Running scripts that purposefully aim to gain an advantage by unethical deception through peeping at private chat logs that aren't the business of other players in the game other than the sole party that the chat is respective for, is like me looking over the shoulder of someone who is entering their bank account details on their phone at an online store and then me committing fraud by using that information.

Eliminations this year have been quite toxic with some teams and now with the latest information to suggest that some lines have been definitely crossed and aren't being acknowledged by the moderators and in-game staff, suggests to me that there is some corrupt alliances and dealings taken place to cover toxicity up. There needs to be an independent review that isn't influenced by those sitting on a panel of current authority, into the allegations that have been brought forward by players of this game that have expressed their concerns for.
