@Otter: I know it's not as fast paced as the usual mafia, but you should also realise that this game isn't even close to how the normal one plays out. It's a variation for a reason, and Ceb here has made so much modifications to the original games that it's not easy keeping track with results. It's not easy hosting a game of mafia, especially with everyone being a special character, so please give him the time he needs.

If I am suspecting you, looking at votes and the kills that has been going on so far, the best option I have is Jhay. I’m focusing specifically on votes and kills because these are absolute; the abilities and actions so far cannot double verify anyone as green or red, and as such may not be reliable. Vote patterns show that between the two of you and Zed makes sense in terms of red play (by this I mean how many reds on and off the train).

Since people are more convinced you’re green than me, there’s no point for me to continue pushing here, and instead vote for the other one I think could be red.

We’re down with 8 people now. What I mean to say is that even if you strike a green as a vig. That person’s death and voting patterns can help us eliminate potential outcomes from the past. Example is if you strike Valk and they’re green, working backwards will give you a smaller pool to choose reds from the earlier nights, as Valk was on the Chess train and the only red you’ll need to figure out from is Jhay and Creator. I’m saying this because in a vote pool as big as Day 1, even without FG it makes sense for reds to have at least one person on the train.

Also, this part was a little misunderstood. What I was going about is that reds have no reason to vote on the train during last day phase due to the small vote pool, so that’s a red flag (which is the part i agree with you about). I did not intentionally make it out as a no lynch; I genuinely thought i had time to convince Greek to switch at that point and did not keep track of time. That’s the most sus thing I did so far and there’s no point making excuses from it other than saying yes I goofed. It is true that the end results are what determines a lynch but also some evaluation about the process is needed too.

As for Valk, she’s the one who claims I’m green from the check. In fact, I think she sussed me a lot since the beginning of the game. After all the sus things I’ve done so far I think it makes sense for her to target me if she’s green (Doctor did as well, so her choice isn’t exactly far-fetched). It’s rather unfortunate that none of our abilities could cross-check each other’s information, but I’d think that if Valk dies and she turns out to be red, I’ll be automatically targeted even though I’m actually green, which I’ll actually applaud if the reds planned this in advance to frame a green. So yeah, I’m glad to have green announced regardless if she’s red or green, and technically she’s right now the only person who can confirm my green, so I am less suspicious of her than I am of you.


For why I only share impressions about 1-2 people per day, the game has unfortunately been abysmally inactive compared to a regular session. I don’t blame anyone since RL stuff will always prioritise this and I myself had low activity at some point, but there isn’t many people to riff on and evaluate about purely because there’s about half actives/semi-actives in the game. The most I can comment on is their vote patterns at this point, and sometimes that’s not enough.

I honestly think that it’s a wasted opportunity for vig to not strike anyone last night, especially since there are two reds left. An extra person dead, regardless if red or green, would yield more information when comparing notes with past votes. But now with nothing to show, I’m more inclined to believe that rainbow’s red.

Also, in response to rainbow about the vote switch on Day 3, the most ideal strategy for reds with how the votes look like is to hide in the majority: they don’t even need to try to vote due to the lack of activity last day phase. It was a 3-4 way tie before i started voting last day phase and created that pinkie/creatorX fiasco; why would I do that as a red to risk myself joining a smaller group for a FG reveal when I could have just chose no lynch?

Thank you for the vote of confidence, but I want to point out that things didn’t quite happen as you thought since it’d be bad if you made guesses on false information. I did a last minute vote switch and voted CreatorX, so Pinkie only had DogHead and CreatorX voting for her as part of lynch.

I think i saw ur message a little too late so even if i tried to type quickly it didn’t work out… also yes, i’m claiming doc, though it seems rather pointless cuz i got roleblocked

To address that last second vote switch from earlier, I wasn’t aware that the time was so close, thought I could get Greek on board to vote CreatorX. But now that DogHead was killed, I’m starting to think it’s less likely for CreatorX to be red, unless reds are making a very bold play to remove suspicions on him.

As usual, any FG? I got roleblocked unfortunately, was thinking of saving Greek since he was very active last day phase but that I didn’t choose the right person to save anyway :/

That’s fair, it does seem like a bold move from reds to do something like that. Right now I’m thinking CreatorX because of how he hopped up the bandwagon, so we can hop over there to make it count.

Was 9 hours ago not a good time to chip in? If I didn’t vote there would’ve been a random lynch between 4 people. Is that the preferred option here if red could just kill the 1 person who voted for that lynch and make FG useless again? At this point no one with enough information is able to ascertain anything, so we should at he very least make it a little easier for a potential FG to do their role.

I did mention that the voting pattern doesn’t quite make sense for us three to be red, and narrowed it down to the group that didn’t vote for Zed because there’s no reason for the reds to threaten themselves by killing someone in this small group of 4 people.

as to why specifically Pinkie, honestly it was to see who’s hopping on without reason, and there was someone who hopped on after me: CreatorX.

I think it makes sense if anyone joins in to raise the number a little bit. 4 is still the bare minimum to make the FG effective, and just because your previous self was inactive it doesn’t mean that they can’t be red, since the other 1/2 reds could do the kill instead.

I think we have to play this day phase without FG again. Something else happened tonight that we aren’t discussing much about: the fact that Onlleh was killed. I thought it would make perfect sense if reds split teams to vote so that the FG doesn’t immediately confirm a whole group as green, but if that’s the case, killing Onlleh would actually threaten the red on this side, this side being me, Doctor, and Greek. The reds would actually be better off killing someone not on the Zed wagon to give the red on the wagon (if there is one) more space to breathe. If the kill was something to go by, i have a feeling both reds are taking the risk and hiding in the majority that didn’t vote, thus making the pool of trustworthy people as small as possible if FG appears.

While this doesn’t completely remove my suspicions on Doctor, I think the safest bet would be to vote someone who isn’t on the Zed wagon… and to be fair I’m not sure if I can get back on in time later to make a vote in time, so i’ll cast a vote first.

Thing is, these are just playing with numbers and odds, which means assumptions are made on the ideal scenario and red has no influence on green. Mafia is essentially a game of deception, and I’d say that securing an early confirmed green is much more valuable to mafia than playing the numbers game. If influence is established early in the game rather than mid-late game, red can just lead the game to victory because the greens will follow their words for it. We’re in this exact scenario now: just because doctor’s the one who started (not followed) the bandwagon, most of us already think he’s less red. Isn’t that something red would want?

Yup, there was no reason to throw DrZed under the bus, except Doctor himself mentioned on what occasion would that make sense a few pages ago: to get rid of dead weight due to his chaotic ramblings. Who knows what was going on behind the mafia Discord they were having but it was smart to pack heat on DrZed right at the last moment.

I have to clarify that I didn’t claim zgreek was red, only Doctor. He just needed to sway one person for the majority and zgreek was the best person to convince since he was very nearly on the chopping board till the last moments.

You kinda rebutted yourself in your 2nd paragraph though. If you’d call vanilla in the scenario tht u were cop but checked the dead player, won’t Doctor’s action be suspicious based on your theory?

It honestly sounds very coincidental… Too coincidental for that fact. I don’t doubt the ability, in fact that could be the exact thing you did, but as a mafia instead of town. I want to see if FG has anything to say about last night first before voting any further , but this as well as the early meme on DrZed being mafia does make me very suspicious.
