How to make lockpick fruitcake? ·

I think he's getting mixed up between cake mix and frosting. When you use the frosting it automatically adds the lock pics in and makes a special fruitcake which replaces all three items.

The main problem is still the cost of the cake initially.

How do fruit cakes enter circulation? In Duke's mission it specifically mentions baking a fruitcake, but I've found no company special that gives you fruitcake, nor any education that allows you to bake.

With the rate they're being removed from the game and the rise in prices looks like it'll be another fail mission for me in the future. Despite it's simplicity.

Make it use up the space properly. Forums look ugly as f**k.

During my first week of getting used to the idea, I felt exactly the same way. I thought it was horrible and argued against it.

Now, I couldn't imagine it any other way.

Becoming accustomed to something being clunky and ugly is not a good thing. A better use of time and resources is to change it until you think it's beautiful, not wait until it becomes normal to see it looking like that.

I appreciate you've all been playing it like this for months and you've been thinking of it for years, but what you wanted it to be seems to be entirely in conflict with what you've released. It would be great if RESPO could be a theme, with an option for a Torn lite, a Torn App for mobiles, hell, anything really. It's simply inefficient and we've become accustomed to being efficient.

If I want to play a game for hours I sit in front of a console or launch Steam. I want Torn in tiny chunks, checking every fifteen - twenty minutes, keeping an ear out for CityWatch to let me know what's up. Currently I'm chafing at the bit doing any sort of buying and selling. I don't see any improvement to crimes, an area that's kinda the oldest and most stale of all. The screenshots I saw some time ago with a new improved Jail area are nowhere to be seen, it's the same old jail, only, without being able to use Torn Extended it's now maddeningly difficult to get a bust - more so than before when people had been bitching and moaning about it for years.

The medals you're closest to seems to have been the only feature that's been imported from the above script, and people will even now be hard at work trying to make scripts to make life simpler. In fact, life was simpler before without a script than it is now, and this is an update.

I appreciate the hard work, dedication, time, effort and more that has gone into the facelift but even after the swelling has gone down I think Torn is gonna be an ugly hard faced barmaid that's a lot more hassle than she's worth.

And rather than make another post with another quote the above resolutions you posted, although the userbase of all of them added together pales into comparison with the top 3 I use 90% of those resolutions on a daily basis on more than a dozen electronic devices. It's not always sitting plugged into the 4k Sony TV using the gaming PC with Torn, that *was* the beauty of it. Saying that only 20% of the userbase use those resolutions is proving that you have no loyalty or empathy for your customers.

Anybody reading this can assume next time an update comes out and it's incompatible with their device they might as well just walk, no matter how long they've been playing Torn because it's all about the percentages.

I also don't like the new forum quotes (minor niggle

down menus just make it more of a pain in the arse and long winded when mobile users are on the go its actualy more bothersome and time consuming then paying to use a net cafe for 15 mins and then using the old computers they have

How are the drop-downs any extra effort than zooming in and trying to press the text links?

On my directors phone he can't use the drop down menus as the scroll bar doesn't work. He's tried on multiple browsers and experiences the same issue on each one. Also the companies page is really bad on my phone, too much unwanted clutter on mobile by a long way.

If it's not possible to have a separate mobile Torn as before then a simpler version without the drop down box for the companies page would be super helpful in the short term as nobody seems interested in bugs until the bug reporter in online in a couple of weeks.

Currently my company is running on fumes as he's unable to order stock on his phone and doesn't have access a computer to play Torn. I can't take over the company because he's unable to even unassign me from my post so he can hand the company back.

He's unable to send newsletters or post on the forums either. Apparently his browser just won't let him type text into the text fields. Again, this is on multiple Android browsers.

He also has huge problems with the new city screen and getting off of it onto other links as all he gets is a screen full of slowly loading tiles. In addition people without unlimited 3G/4G data plans are being forced to download huge amounts of data for nothing with the new layout automatically dumping you at the non text city rather than taking you to the links and giving the option of looking at the full map.

I'd rather not lose my director...or my friend, surely there must be some way of stripping away all the crap, clutter and complications for the mobile user?

My guess is your closed beta test is comprised almost entirely of geeks with the latest tech. You have to take into consideration that the whole world plays Torn and a lot of them, especially in Asia will be playing on crappy outdated or poorly ripped OS phones that probably don't conform absolutely to the standards of the last 18 months.

How do you guys like the new center bar? ·

Oldskool Thinkpad with a 4:3 screen here. Looks fine to me ;p
