Public service announcement: Stop copy/pasting from mobile into travelrun!! There's dozens of false zeros on travelrun today. Mobile users are noticing that yes, it shows stocks of flowers while mobile. But no, you can not directly copy/paste the mobile screen into travelrun. Until its developers adapt to the change, you must switch to desktop view, and copy/paste that.
Now that finding items in the city is incredibly more often (all it takes is some patience and a lot of scrolling), I'm curious to see if these city finds count towards the city finds medal. If so, I feel bad for the blokes who got it the hard way. Has anyone earned a medal from the ol' scroll and click method?
As a flower runner, my biggest grief with the mobile interface was that the stocks of items didn't show while you were abroad. I just refreshed my phone and now - stocks are showing! Yesssss

I've done this calculation myself. I even added in a 25 mil / week conservative estimate of flower sales. Longer investment periods always rank supreme. I don't know who started the idea that 1 week returns are better - but they're wrong.
Consider: the amount of interest you gain going from 1 week to 2 is more than 2x. In the case above the two week interest is .41% more than twice of one week. Thus for one week to be more profitable, the amount of interest you'd gain from the interest on last week's interest plus your weekly deposit must be more than the .41% of your base principle. In other words ((1.35% x principle) + weekly gain )x 1.35% would have to be more than .41% x principle. This does not happen unless your weekly contributions are quite large

I'm so glad it shows now. However, travelrun still requires that you go to desktop version and copy-pasta it to update travelrun. But I'm so glad I can see the stocks right when I land.

I second this. I was less than lvl 5 and became a zombie about a week into TOTD. I was happy when I was out of the hospital for more than 5-10 minutes. Some people would send me a morphine after attacking, but so many people had me on the enemy list as a zombie that I was never out long.
Thanks for the help guys n gals! I'm about at the point where I'm looking to buy a PI and buying one with the upgrades already saves a chunk of change.
PaperStSoapCo [1793199]There's a HUGE spike in my data consumption after RESPO. I've been consistently mobile both pre-RESPO and post, and now I keep getting warnings saying I've passed 50%...90%...and even 95% of the 2 GB I get a month. I don't think I've ever encroached on my data plan like I've done these past two months. I have having my wifi on constantly because it's insecure but now while I'm at work (with no wifi) I'll try to pick up the wifi at Subway or Panera or whatever during lunch just to try to ease the load. If people have wifi at their work that's one thing but I don't and this is burning up my data plan fast. I thought I heard word early on that they were working to reduce the load, but I've heard nothing since. Yes, the new RESPO looks nice but I've read threads in the forums about proxys and image storage and tons of other things I don't understand ([:laughing:] ) which would help make it less data.Get on it!
Have you tried compressing the data from the site so that it doesn't have to retrieve the sites information every time you log on? that should help quite a bit.
Explain how that happens/how to do that? I might have an undergrad degree but it sure doesn't cover this haha
My question is then: Do I have to buy a PI without a Yacht and Airstrip and upgrade them myself to get the award? Or, can I buy a PI already upgraded and still get the award? It's semantics, but when you're spending that much money, I wanna be sure.
