Buy-mugging does suck, but in the future just a word of advice, at a low level/low stats, sell items and/or points in low increments. I still do it just to prevent someone even wanting to waste their e buy-mugging. As Runic said it does happen all the time and there's no way to 100% avoid it but you can use some precautions as well :)

So I have a question regarding the cruise line agency. I'm looking to possibly start up a company in the future. While I know The Cruise Line Agency may be a risky business to operate, I mainly want to do it for the passive bonus of items per flight... which leads me to my question-

Do the passive bonuses stack?

Whats going on TC community thought I'd post here to hopefully get some good information assuming a handful of people on this game are tech savvy xP I'm not much into tech myself so I don't know much about computers and how they work, I just like to play my games on them lol. Anyway I'm in the search for a new laptop, not looking to spend over 4-500 preferably. I just want something that will perform good for online surfing and games, and just get the job done. Doesn't have to have a 40" monitor or anything, hell I don't care if it's 11". I just need something that will perform better than the POS I have now. Also if anyone would like to explain to me what makes some PC's better than others, is it the processor? XD

So if anyone would like to offer suggestions of brands or models that would be awesome. Thanks for your time!

If you can read and halfway comprehend information, you can be a fine player of Torn. If all of our new players are 10 year-olds, then yes Torn is going to seem extremely hard to grasp. Like anything in life, you put the work in, along with a bit of dedication and you'll turn out just fine! It's a great game that in my opinion doesn't need much changing at all. I wish I would have been active all the years I've had this account, cause I missed out on a lot :(

Both are good.. BUT, the subscription is better and more worth it in my opinion.. If you're going to donate once a month anyway, go with subscription. For the price of $4.85 monthly you get your 31 days donator, plus special items, plus daily drawings for points. I've been a subscriber for years and wouldn't have changed it at all :) If you're planning on playing long-term, subscription is the way to go. And if you feel the need to donate sometime, you can always do so to either use/sell your other donator packs as well.

My main thing for veering away from the CLA is that I won't be able to hire my lower-level friends to help them out. I want to be able to do something beneficial for myself and the ones I help in Torn. I appreciate the info, maybe I can get them to do edu job for a while to build some work stats and could still give the CLA a shot in the future.

If you're already a subscriber/donator, I just click the icon on top of the user info and it takes you straight to donator house.

I don't believe it's guaranteed. On average I find about 1 item per day, sometimes 2-3 just depends.. Some days, I find none.

True, I thought of that as well but I've been wanting the satisfaction of running my own company for a long time and I'm slowly starting to build up money enough to do so. I may still go with the flower shop job though, it's cheap and I have a few friends at low levels I think it would benefit. I've got options at least.. Time will tell :)

Ah, right.. that never really crossed my mind about the xanax as I don't xanax run often.

That's a very broad question/statement. What are you needing help/assistance with that the forums don't explain for u?

For me I read a lot in the forums and stocks aren't hard to grasp.



EDIT: You're over level 15. Not trying to be a hard-ass, but start traveling and while traveling if you're at home bored.. Surf the hell out of these forums lol. There's so much knowledge spread out in the forums it's crazy. It's unlikely that people will just hand you over information tailored to your learning ability. Gotta read a ton on a game like this

Don't quote me as I'm no expert - but I think if you plan to stay long term at the casino, save them and use them when you're at a high rank, assuming you'll get the best results at a higher rank than a low rank. Just a word of advice from my personal knowledge... I don't think I'd spend much time in the casino job.

If you plan to play torn long term - get yourself started properly with a job in Education (trade job points for work stats.) and you can end up getting a very good job at a decently low age. Also, you get a 10% passive reduction to education length when starting new courses, once you max out your rank in the Education field.. which is also very helpful!

That's just a tip of mine, after playing for years on and off, I wish I'd done that LONG ago... some things can't be reversed in torn so make informed decisions :) Welcome to TORN!

Not sure if that's the info you're looking for. If not, there are guides in the tutorials/guides section that I read up on when wanting to jump into stocks.. I'd suggest finding those and looking them over. There's tons of info on the forums just have to dig!
