I live pretty close to Toronto.. Aside from going downtown where you would see CN Tower, Toronto Island, Casa Loma and some museums here and there.. it's nice to visit Niagara Falls, Niagara on the Lake, Canada's Wonderland, Blue Mountains... These are within 3 hrs from the city

there's lots to see :) few of the common places to go to in the Philippines are Palawan, Vigan, Siargao, Bohol etc...

I'm not too familiar with Burma/Myanmar but if you're into temples i think that'd certainly be a good place to visit
