during the glitch 10 minutes ago. I tried to use a donator pack and it disappeared and I did not receive any of the points or any thing else it might have had in it. I have tried 10 times to use the Contact and every time I try it throws me to the log in page and I have to re-log and then when I hit Contact it does it again.
I am 100% positive that I had 166 points before I tried to use the donator pack and I still have 166 points. Because I was looking at the fact that I would have to purchase another Donator pack to get the 250 for a Bazaar.
I have tired the bug report and have tired the contact (contact throws me out of game) and tried the ticket on the main log in page and gotten a 404 error code.
I have now tired to email admin and getting no conversation recorded.
Earlier today the numbers on the left side doubled just before you announced the New Mobile Bar at14:59:39 - 18/07/14. I started out with 166 points and should have gotten another 50 when I tried to use the donator pack and got NOTHING. and the pack is gone. Now I am not a happy camper to have lost even that small amount of money. I either want the pack put back into my items or a refund of my money.

A place of lacking information, tbh. You have no way of knowing for sure what they did and didn't do, you just have their word, and frankly a high percentage of cheaters tell their friends they didn't cheat, when caught.
Additionally your use of the word "tried" is concerning, they TRIED to make sure they didn't interact. They tried, or they made sure of it? Sounds like hedging to me.
Tried as in they had never seen the list that MadameButterfly posted in here either. So with out knowledge of the does and don'ts they did what they knew not to do from other games we play.
As in do not pad stats, "hit each other"
Be in the same family, "Faction"
Send money to each other.
I do not think either has a Bazzar.
However, the other games we play post clearly the rules front page and center where you know what your limits are. They don't bury them in some obscure forum or place that you have to spend days hunting them.
It may say that but I messaged an admin ages ago and asked if my wife could register for Torn - obviously we share an IP. We were told that yes she could be with the usual restrictions.
She doesn't play often now but neither of us have been fedded because neither assist each other in any way.
I am an avid reader of the wiki's and the rules and until MadameButterfly posted what she did I have never seen those does and don'ts before only the 1 person/1IP rule in the contacts. My friends are a married couple, close to the same level in Torn. They have tried to make sure they do not interact with each other in game to the point of not even being in the same Faction nor are they even Married to each other in game. We have always played with spouses in different alliance from us so that we could all be our own individuals and others would not say we were ganging up on some one. Since we play Mafia killing games.
From where I sit this is a case of a player winning a big pot and getting Fedded for no reason if what MadameButerfly posted and what you say are correct.
MadameButterfly [1035358]Two people are allowed have separate accounts from the same IP, one person is not allowed have 2 accounts from the same or different IP's.
What they are allowed do is: be in the same faction but cannot send money/items to each other from the faction, be in the same company (if one is the director they are allowed give the other a wage as long as they are on the same pay structure as all other employees) Marry and live in the same house
What they are not allowed do is: Send each other items or cash (even only $1) Buy from each others bazaar Buy items the other has listed on the market Attack each other Revive each other Bust each other Bounty each other or claim each others bounties Ask someone to act as a middleman Gamble at the same poker table Bid on the others auctions Buy points the other has listed
You can bet your friend broke one of those rules, maybe by accident but still it happened.
I doubt she has broken these. The only thing that has happened is she won the slots and they are both on the same IP. And she has not sent him a dime of the money.
MadameButterfly [1035358]Sorry but there is no "1 player per IP" rule, myself and my TC wife have played from the same IP for years and never gotten into trouble simply because we follow the rules and I know lots of other people who play from the same IP on here who have never been in trouble either. Staff don't ban accounts just for having the same IP, staff ban accounts with the same IP for interacting in a way that is against the rules or evades the IP block
Sorry Madam but that is the only reason it can be. If you go to the Contact page it states this. Took me a while to find it after she got banned.
Only one account is allowed per person/IP address. Please only make one account and continue to play that one only.
i can go make up 5 fake emails addresses now and make out im 5 different family members how could torn prove they are same person cause like all multis they pool the cash in one main account
There are ways to counter multi and a legal Identification is one of them. Preventing same IP interaction is another. There are ways to allow family members and friends to play together. I also teach and the dorms use the same IP address on their WIFI so this game prevents frat members ect from playing together.
It only take a little work to verify members on the same IP
Some of the things speculated here are just plain ignorant, and ignorant of the game to limit the player base by IP only. I come form a family that games and have moderated many games over the years. My nephew and his four kids play many games together. It is part of being a family and the way this game is set up not only discourages that, but punishes it. I will never recommend this game to any of my family as much as we love to play together and spend money on games as a family.
Most of the games I have worked for will verify the players on the same IP with and ID instead of totally limiting to 1 player per IP you do not have more than 1 IP per house hold on a normal basis.
For the record the last slots winner is a friends and she did not send money to any one. If it were not for my friends that play this game I would not be here playing. There are many many problems with this game and this is just one more mark against it in my book.
