We've all been there before, out walking the streets of Torn, enjoying the sites. Take a stole through the market to see if there are any good deals, walk past the docks just to catch a glimpse of that Aston Martin One-77 in the window then hit of the casino with the plan of winning the jackpot so maybe you can afford to buy it but like every other night you leave with only the feeling of desperation as you know by the end of the night you were doubling down with your dignity to only go bust.

Sitting in an ally feeling lost and with no hope for what can come next you find that one pill in your pocket. You know you shouldn't. You know you're in a cycle of despair and tonight is the night you will make the change and say no, but that pill is looking back at you reminding you that in 1 moment you will shift from feeling like you're at rock bottom to being above the world with more energy than if you had stayed at the penthouse suite of the feather hotel. Without another thought you toss that Xanax to the back of your mouth and swallow. In an instant that self pity turns into excitement and anticipation in that you may soon forget the darkness that is your life but instead of a rush of energy, you realize something is off and as you begin to vomit uncontrollably you realized you've overdosed and you're about to find out how deep rock bottom truly is.

Fortunately, there are still some good people in Torn. When I was at my worst there was SandyFeline running over and with no care for her own well being she was picking me up out of the pile of my own sick reviving me to not just give me another shot at life, but to give me a shot at redemption.

SandyFeline's random act of kindness gave me the courage to hop on a plane and check myself into rehab.

Here I am now, 30 hours sober and now loving myself as a person again, something I haven't been able to say for a long time. I walk around the streets of torn and something is different, there is a sense of pride both in myself and thanks to SandyFeline the community as a whole. And as I walk, I know it is this pride that will give me the strength to stay sober....wait...what's that on the ground over there...
