I see exactly what you're saying but I don't think it applies to this particular situation. There isn't an excuse for someone male or female to act out outlandishly especially when their hormones blind them so badly that they don't realize the errors in that entire approach, however if I know a certain reaction is typical from posting half naked or cleavage oriented pictures, then why would I post it and not expect some sort of attention? This all goes alot deeper than just some women are attention whores and some men are pigs. It's not really clear cut.
If i were to post a picture of myself online that had me with my shirt off, what other reason would I be posting it than for some sort of attention? Comparing the thirst trap argument to **** is a bit over the top don't you think? I agree that her posting pictures doesn't give any one the right to act some type of way behind the guise of anonymity however the attention argument still stands.
