Having tried to get my rank up through various ways since starting the game back after a long break, so far I have hit 3 different rank triggers, non of which have actually triggered a new rank, the triggers I have successfully hit are.
500m networth (I kept it this high for weeks)

Battle stats
Achieve 10,000 crimes.

Please help me to understand why these triggers haven’t worked for me.

So you need to have a networth of 500m and then get 10000 crimes just to go up a rank? I didn’t realise it was that complicated
