Our Wolf Pack chain died at 8,351, I assume during the scheduled downtime. I was wondering if chains get restored during downtime or if we just missed it when it came back? We had several members at computers refreshing for when Torn would be back up to catch the chain but it was already in cooldown when our members got in. I know it was scheduled, but we were already in the middle of our chain when the bulletin came out.
Any information about this would be great.

I don’t typically like to get involved in drama - watch it unfold, absolutely! - but respond to things… not so much.
But I’ll make an exception, however, as I’m a bit confused about your post here. I was in Wolf Pack for 10 years, and in a leadership role for over 8 of them. In that time I’ve never been called a scumbag, or been accused of stealing, extorting or anything - and had very few serious negative comments about my time in that role. We weren’t perfect but we always had WP’s best interest in mind.
The “infidel” comment is also very confusing. I suppose if by that you mean I didn’t believe 100% that everything Tezwar was doing was a good idea and I didn’t take his word as gospel, then I guess you’re right?
Further, I went through my message and mail history with you and didn’t find any issues or a single request for money.
Tezwar once told me that if I didn’t like it, I could leave. I took that advice. And I encourage all of those still in Wolf Pack now to consider it as well.
I tried to buy something from someone's bazaar but could not because it said we had connected on the same IP, back when you couldn't interact with a person who was on the same IP address.
I messaged them and said hi, and that it was surprising to find someone who played Torn in my city and where might we have been at the same place? Perhaps at the university or this cafe? Anyway, I think that creeped them out and they were very short with me and didn't seem too enthused to continue the conversation.
I have met a couple people from Torn, but those were organized - and a lot of fun!

I’m in Canada and he moved from Sweden.
My partner and I met on Torn and he moved countries to be with me.
I hate when people ask how we met as Torn is extremely embarrassing to talk about in real life. I am aware I'm a huge nerd, and Torn might be the biggest, nerdiest component of my nerdom.
