Okay, this was literally insane and took me nearly 2 hours. If I missed someone, please forgive me, although I think I got everyone up until the latest post.

Time to sleep.

Hey guys, I'm going to have to cut this Event short I'm afraid. Had some personal and family issues coming up that I need to deal with. I'm only going to be able to come on for 5 minutes over this week so it'll make it really difficult.

I hope you all had fun and sorry the Event could have been a lot better, but I'm glad I sent so many presents out. This was a lot more successful than I expected.

To the new people that posted before me, I'll send you a little something to make up for it soon when I get the time.

Take care, and see you for my next giveaway sometime next year.

You know what, I'm going to send all the gifts out right now. I was thinking about it and it seems unfair to leave some people waiting, I'd rather everyone got their present. Plus I can't sleep and I'm bored, so perfect timing really. This could take me at least an hour.

If you didn't get your present after I've sent them all, just let me know. Going to be working towards the latest post. Spreading it out over December was a cool idea but will really drag it out. Rather do this.

To any new posters, I'll send your gift as soon as I see your post. You still have until Christmas Eve, that isn't changing.

Will edit this post when all have been sent.

I hope we're allowed to use movie characters. I just thought it'd be a dope idea. Good luck everyone. :)

Thanks for the fast and safe trade. Would recommend, good guy.

Yeah, definitely. I've sent him a PM, and if he's not cool with it I'll get a starter job which would allow me to have more freedom in taking days away. Most likely it would not be more than 1-2 days a week, but it'd stop Torn feeling like an obligation/job. The active daily thing can grind on you after a while. Some days you're just exhausted. Often times I've been in bed and felt like "Oh damn, I forgot to do my Torn stuff" at like 2am instead of just sleeping.

I'll definitely talk to my Director about it. I just don't want to be that employee that lets the Company down but I've been a pretty consistent one for years. It's just lately I'm having more responsibilities in life, and I don't want Torn to feel like a job. It's meant to be relaxing and a distraction for me.

The couple of days away was great, and I've enjoyed it more tonight. So that definitely seems like it works for me. Not being on it all day, and doing longer distance flights would suit me as well I think.

I'll get on The Office....soon

If I was to do something like that, what kind of Job would be best? How much impact does taking 1-2 days affect my employee effectiveness?

I actually tried being in a Faction, and I don't enjoy it as much as others. I do like the benefits of being in a Faction and feeling part of a team, but chaining isn't really something I enjoy. I end up just feeling a bit too different than anyone else, plus I'm finding myself having less and less time when it comes to Torn.

How often do you log in? Sometimes I feel like I'm hurting my progress or hindering my Job employer if I take a day or two away from Torn which can make it seem like a chore sometimes. I wouldn't mind being more casual and being able to step away so I enjoy the game more. Does that really hurt my Company? This is why I think a Faction isn't for me.

For the first time this week I felt burnout whilst playing Torn. I guess logging in daily finally caught up to me. I had to take a couple of days away from the game in order to feel the itch for it again.

So my question is what kind of things did you guys do when you felt yourself enjoying Torn less? I seem to be okay now, but it'd be nice for future sake.

I'm going to be honest, lately I don't know anymore.

A part of me is considering just closing my account tomorrow, as coming on to train/do crimes and travelling is a chore and is starting to feel like a job and I don't really know what I'm playing for anymore.

Nice job. I'm not even close to finished yet because I didn't invest merits early on. Although, being in a fitness center has been nice. The specials are handy.

Nearly 6 years for me and I only have 1 Enemy also. I'm definitely doing something wrong.

Congrats to OP on first year. You're in for life now, strap in.

Congratulations. A lot of sacrificed energy to help others out. 50k Revives is insane. I wouldn't achieve that in my entire Torn lifetime. As a reviver myself, I'm always glad to see others doing it.
