Hi, I applied for a Faction two days ago and heard nothing back. The Faction page will now, not allow me to apply for another. Does anyone have a way around this or know how long I'll have to wait please?
Hi, I dont know how difficult this would be to achieve but how about an option to purchase a vigilante buisiness? Owners then get requests from other players who visit the buisness to attack requested targets. Also, the buisness can be used by players to oversee the smooth transaction of deals from one player/faction to another. Employees of the buisness act as a hired security force. They declare war on players for money.
With the real world moving to get away from using Oil and fossil fuesl, does anyone reckon that Torn will follow suite? Like, one day the oil rigs become worthless and a new solar panel company will sort sort of speak.

I find it re-assuring from the amount of feedback stating that players would not start again that there is plenty to do in Torn even in the later "Capo di Capo" stages of the game. Awesome!
Naturally, the better players get, the harder the achievements they take on. Theres no glory in small fry! Like McDonalds running a burger van out of buisiness.

Theres none yet, but you can google tons of cases where oil companies and billionaires are selling up their interests. So, it wont be long before we stop using oil. Technology pays another important role. Take the anticipated E-cat and Toyota giving away their patent for the oxygen and hydrogen engine.
Anyway, this isnt the point. Will Torn change with the real world? Can any old schoolers remember when it has evolved in the past?
What about the real events gambling in the Casino or the fact that you get a merit for logging in on real world xmas day?

Thats a fair point. It could be a competition between players sort of thing. Maybe 3 top players take on 10 apprentices and the best ones out of each 10 compete in a final. TORN factor or Torn Idol gritted up a bit. Mmm thinking about it, its ideas like this which are wrong with the entertainment industry today!
