I've been REALLY wanting to play some poker, but my net worth doesn't allow me to play the high-stakes tables that I see normally active. Instead I visit the low-stakes tables, but they are either locked with a password or else the table is occupied by people who are sitting there without playing.
I've also tried starting my own low-stakes poker table, but I've had very little success in getting anyone to visit it and play with me.
So what gives? Right now I count roughly 10 people sitting at low-stakes, no-password-needed poker tables, but with no game going because no one is actually playing. Any advice, comments, opions etc on this issue would be appreciated.
