I kind've have mixed feelings about Torn. It isn't a bad game, it's just the whole idea of waiting, and having the option to pay real money just to make significant progress kinda turns me off to it. I can't be the only one annoyed by this business practice, it's gotten so bad we now see it in triple AAA video game titles. Take MKX for example, you can buy your way through the krypt. The game gives you incentive to do this because you don't gain that much coins when winning and losing fights. I think the one most ridiculous is easy fatalities, really? Their called microtransactions and i'm not a fan of it. If you're a gamer like me, I don't think you would pay $60 for a game and then pay even more money just to make progress. But some games make it worse, some games implement grinding just to give consumers incentive to pay for microtransactions. And it's f**king bullshit. Do gamers want to be nickel and dimed every time they start a game? I certainly hope not.

I understand Torn is free, plus I mostly focused on triple AAA games. By that I mean games released on PC and consoles. I didn't say Torn was bad, I was just asking what others thought of microtransactions leaking into our main games. It's terrible on some mobile games, it isn't bad here, but compared to mobile games and the shit we've been seeing on consoles. Torn isn't all that bad. I guess Torn is just eh for me. It's kinda boring like those facebook games.
