Suggestion 1:
Torn City Feud. Using statistics from the game, people can try to guess what is the most popular stock, item, car, or location in Torn City. How many people search the dump per day, or what is the favored item to toss. Points are awarded for the top three answers, number one being worth the most and number three the least.
Suggestion 2:
Easter Egg hunt. Hide clues throughout Torn City or the Web. The first person to spot the clue posts in the forums.
Suggestion 3:
Murder Mystery. Have a player be "The Victim" and another be "The Perp". Assign the Perp a vehicle, weapon, item, armor, location, etc. and have other players try to guess how and where the victim died and where the Perp is hiding using hints and setting up a story. For example:
"In the dark alleyway behind The Sweet Shop, the victim's body was littered with .45 ACP rounds and it appears he/she had just come from the jewelry store as there is an empty ring box near the victim. No shopping bags from the sweet shop but the Victim also seems to be carrying a previously wrapped package, now unwrapped and empty. The Perp must have stolen the jewelry and whatever was in the package. Inside the Victim's pocket is a crumpled up letter that reads, 'My dearest [Anna], I know our time here is short and I want to spend the rest of it with you. I have put my past in the past and I'll never associate with [Faction] again.'"
You could do a lot with this. I'm not much of a writer but I know someone could make this really interesting, planting clues and leaving a trail; all of us trying to help the detective solve the case.
