Premier League kicking off in a few days. This season would be even more grueling than last year with World Cup sandwiched between in an already congested fixtures. Squad depth will be absolutely vital this season. Clubs without layers of good players and ageing squad will suffer this season, imo.

a little bit 50/50 on italian striker in the premier league especially in the recent years, they are a bit hot and cold aren't they.

Ward has been in leceister since 2018 after moving from liverpool. Decent goalie, but their poor form in the league is due to the whole bunch of player underperforming. they are scoring goals but their defence is atrocious
And he has similar styled players who are comfortable with the ball at his disposal in Chelsea. Would have love to see him finished the season with brighton though
the biggest reason is benching Harry Maguire and Shaw. The defensive work done after benching them both is all too visible to see.

imho, i think Konate is underrated in that lineup. He seems unplayable at times and complements well with Van Dijk. I think once he eases back into the squad, liverpool will be back to their old groove slowly
