Yes I was thinking along those lines as well - but how? They mass buy off the item market to change the rarity? Get alts to mass buy? Bots to monitor rarity of presents and list them on auction house automatically when they change?

How is it that people are able to place regular, birthday, and Christmas presents onto the Auction House 'Uncommon' when they are clearly common in the description? It doesn't really make a difference whether I sell mine on the market or auction house, but I'm just curious on how its done (auction house prices are slightly higher, though :P )
