When I started doing these I thought I would get them over with asap, and even when I learned they were inefficient for merits. Anyway, I know you probably will want to know some info so here you go.
I started at a mid 25 NNB and right now I have a low 35, just in the last month actually from a 30 NNB. I have been keeping track of the last 200 successes that I have had, and for the past 200 successes I have had exactly 30 blue results and 4 red (jailings). This calculates to an 85.5% success rate, 12.8% fail rate, and 1.8% jail rate.
Those are actually very reasonable for drug crimes, but keep in mind that that is with the ADTM, pyschology and federal judge buff, full crime merits, and full faction crime upgrades (+25%). If you want any more info, please feel free to message me or reply. WOOHOO!!!
I don't know if this is a recent trend or if it's been happening for some time, but TravelRun, being a wiki-like website updated by its users, can also be used to disperse misinformation. I only found the site recently after reading a guide on flower-running, and have since been actively updating the information on the site wherever I go.
I have a relatively small data set to work with, as it is for one of the more active destinations, the Cayman Islands. In the past week I've noticed at least 4 times where users of the site have deliberately altered the textbox to read 0 flowers and/or plushies available, while not editing the other item quantities. In discouraging other users of the site from traveling to the destination, they are *perhaps* trying to reduce the rate at which the items are bought, thus allowing them to buy more within a certain time frame. It is effective to a certain extent. The page for Cayman islands is updated at least once every 30 minutes as long as there's objects of interest to purchase there. When the items are not shown the "time last updated" can increase to as much as 2 hours, reflecting a more general lack of travel to the destination.
This seriously undermines the purpose of the site, which is to produce up to date croudsourced data from the destinations.
There is also a second and potentially more serious problem with the website. Recently people using the website have been getting some unwanted ads via the website on both PC and mobile, probably caused by malware on the website. It's up to you to make the final call whether you want to keep using the site or not, but as for myself, I'm just going to use the flower and plushy threads in the Trading Post now. Better safe than sorry.

How to edit the site: First, copy (ctrl-c) the text that you see on the market page in the traveling destination you are in. Make sure to include the line "You are in XXXXX with $XXXX" and everything below it. Your amount of money can safely be edited to 0 without affecting the website. Next, go to the website and the travel page for the destination you are at and click the "update data here" button. Paste (ctrl-v) the stuff you copied into the text box and click update.

Hey guys, I've been here for a relatively short period of time but I've already made some friends and have some pretty rad things happen to me.
I just want to say thank you to the people in new chat who tried to help me and the people in global that taught me how to recognize a troll. I want to say thank you to all the times someone's busted me out of jail and the few times I've needed a morphine and a kind soul sent one to me. I want to say thank you to the guide-writers, the helpful posters, the funny ones on the forums that have made the game so much easier on me. I want to say thank you to that "someone" who sent me 5 mil on the first day just because I was wondering how to make money (no I don't beg). I want to say thanks to my factionmates and friends who have been there for me when I've been down on luck. I want to say thank you to all the straight, no-mug traders I traded with early on. Finally, I want to say thank you to Ched and the other devs and admins who've helped put together this awesome game for us to enjoy.

Personally, I use achievements as my #1 indicator of an opponent because if you play the game you're going to get achievements no matter how hard you try not to. Even opponents tend to have the same number of achievements as you, especially if you're both under about 250.
I like how this has been bumped many times. I play, Omega account with some pals in a wormhole. Not space rich, but I used to run DED's and do explo. That's why even though I started in Sept. I already have 21 million SP with about 4,400 average SP/hr.
