I miss my first long-term faction The Quidnunks. Special kinda family dynamic in that place. I left some really lovely people behind when I moved on.

I miss The Mighty Ducks. Fun little nugget of a faction with a significantly eclectic mix of personalities - somehow even more prevalent in the Ducks than in other factions I'd been in. I still fly with a bunch of former Ducks over Torn City, pooping on stuff and quacking in chat n shit...

I miss Silver. She was only in my circle for a short time, but she stepped up like a friggin Terminator for justice when some ugly nonsense went down with me and a couple members of [REDACTED].

In a weird kinda way, I miss one of the fedded PonyCorn accounts - there's a few, I'm not 100% certain but I have a feeling its PonyCorn [1976889] based on the profile pics. Pretty sure that's the face I remember and shudder. A true piece of shit, and the cause of my first temporary noob-rage-quit. Whatever else he was, he was an amazing troll, and I just gotta give props for getting under my skin and teaching me "how Torn really works"

This. It's been going on for weeks for me. I sub and play daily and have never used cheats or exploits. I use TT only and even disabled that upon advice, and yet I have to slow my click roll for a recaptcha almost every single time I return to a Torn tab.

Bogie and the "helpers" have been nothing short of curt and dismissive to my query communications. I'm about to pull my sub and take a wee break too, mate. Between these endless captchas and this incredibly boring "world war" it might be time to strap the old footy boots back on and get outside again for a bit. Sun's coming back out here anyway so the timing is good I guess...

Being correct according to its programming, and correct according to accuracy are absolutely mutually exclusive concepts. The volume of these recaptchas here in Torn rn is not replicated anywhere else in the general online space. Torn now stands proud as a weird and annoying backseat driver, messing with people's playtime, which is already being completely effed by this frustrating war that is dragging out way too long.

Games are meant to be fun. This is nose-diving into the realm of the boring and frustrating.

Also, when game management just spouts a pre-written script that provides ZERO information or apologies or any sense of understanding that this might be DEEPLY FRUSTRATING TO LOYAL, LEGAL, PAYING MEMBERS OF THIS GAME, it breeds contempt. Organizational Behavior 101.

EDIT: just as I've posted this I see a green header indicating TornTools may be the culprit. I have since disabled TT and have not been subject to recaptcha yet. Previous statement regarding staff communications stands. Also, dang wth am I gonna do without TT?

Incorrect. Spoken with bogie twice (as well as a community helper) in last couple weeks and was told, quite politely but firmly, to shut the f**k up and deal with it.

Re. the hover thing Ohadik mentioned: where about do I hover to see this info please? The Personal Perks section of my Home just lists the perks available from my employment in a PSF but doesn't say whether they are active or not. I'm prolly missing something simple and am happy to have egg on my face if only someone can just tell me exactly what to do and where to do it so I can get that info.

Onyx flipped it back to ugly street level curb rhymes - mad love. Always loved Cube ever since. Eazy was a fkn king. Dre I can take or leave.

Eyes on Spittage until he got clapped (RIP my dude... You had a bright career coming for you...that shit was fkd up), same for Proof (was hoping for big solo shit from this guy... RIP). Buc 50 gave us ONE banger of a track, and while most of his catalogue is trash, "Say it aint so" still gives me chills to this day and until I die fr - I know most of you guys have never heard it but you really need to check that joint

Boosie and Joyner stepped up in a time when mumbling rainbow-coloured crybaby rap was taking over, to let folks know that manhood was not dead... There was just some new "types" of "men" stepping up, but traditional tough-guy shit with a thinking man's twist was still a thing.

Been spinning vinyl for just over 25 years now, and while my taste can be considered "eclectic as f**k" (like all vinyl collectors), and while I cleave to drum & bass as my ultimate mood bop, it was hip hop that started me on that journey and has sustained me throughout.

The factions that held and all the contracts, so they chose to and we see the results playing out. It's been a long time coming and always bogie because scamming and the staff have made a decision. Nuke were doing but it seems that NS have a claim to be the territory or Monarch and revive was preferential in pricing tier but however it played out was always going to be a foregone conclusion.

In summary: but it cannot be disputed and ched towards a problem of leadership. NS made clear an intention that Nuke and to drop the ball became a flashpoint for this discourse. Sector 7 was and can never always be, but options are limited and so we will perform as duty dictates, without an alliance the contracts are continuing except where they can solder some kind of mediated action to benefit the sum total.

Early on I was obsessed with Duke missions. I love the mods and books but lately I haven't been able to get a success without multiple attempts and burning many resources in the process.

They stopped being fun about a year ago and I've just given up. There's lots of other parts of Torn that I love engaging with so it doesn't feel like a great loss at all.

Plus I get books for free on my doorstep just for being a sub so...

Jeez, it's so nice to hear some happiness on these forums.
