Welcome to my silly guide. I just want to help newbies struggle less and risk less money while learning one of the best methods to earn cash while flying.
I decided to share some of my personal experience to make Xanax running safer and more profitable. This guide might not helpful in current situation, but when things return to normal and plunder is everywhere, people will definitely need this guide... or maybe when travel 2.0 finish everything will change and this guide doomed.
So, if you want to risk your wallet to buy some Xanax, or if people keep mugging you abroad, this guide should help you out.
Disclaimer: This guide benefits everyone—muggers, traders, travelers, newbies, revivers, and anyone else who flies regularly. Please don’t hate me for revealing these basic methods. Also nothing works perfectly every single time. Human existence is built on trial and error anyway.
STEP 0: Mug Protection (Optional)
To prevent losing money before risking a flight abroad with $20m, you will need a friend or someone you know you can trust.
- Get $30m ready in your wallet.
- Ask a trusted friend to mug you so you get 12 hours of mug protection. This will help reduce your losses and leave you with enough money to pay for a revive so you can still turn a profit. You can read more about how this mechanics works on the https://wiki.torn.com/wiki/Mug#Mug_Protection.
- Have your friend return the mugged money back to you.
- Medout and fly to buy Xanax. (You can put the money back into your faction vault and hope a banker is online at the right time, or send it to your friend and ask them to return it later).
STEP 1: Planning and Timing
Timing is the single most important factor in determining how effective your run will be. Also need to maximize your travel capacity for more profit. You need to finding a good route: Use https://prombot.co.uk/travel/all-countries to see where Xanax is cheapest for maximum profit. If you miss the restock window by even 15 minutes, Xanax will likely run out of stock depending on the location and how many people are camping there. To reduce your chances of being mugged, plan to land right when Xanax restocks, or at least 13 - 15 minutes before. If you time your landing perfectly, you have a 15 seconds invisibility upon landing to buy your Xanax and fly back to Torn safe.
How Restocks Work
Xanax has a 2 hours restock cooldown, and only 2500 are added per restock.
To predict the next restock time you need to find out when Xanax last ran out of stock (reached 0). And then add 2 hours more to that time. You can track this easily using https://weav3r.dev/travel-stock.
Remember restock times are not always exact. They can occur 15 minutes early, 15 minutes late, or on rare occasions get delayed more. Because of this, you should always plan to land at least 15 minutes before the predicted restock time.
For example: If Xanax went out of stock at 15:00 TCT, the next estimated restock is 17:00 TCT. You should time your landing for 16:45 TCT at the latest.
Also you should check the https://wiki.torn.com/wiki/Travel to calculate your flight duration. Like if traveling to UK with Airstrip takes around 1 hour and 46 minutes, and you want to land before 16:45 TCT, you need to depart Torn around 14:59 TCT. You can also using Torn PDA but Torn PDA predictions sometime got delayed then show wrong right predict time. That why you should learn to manually check incase is go wrong.
Timing With Airstrip
Honestly, using an airstrip can make timing your flights quite hard, so it takes a lot of practice to really get the hang of how it works.
To master the timing in this situation, you need to understand when is peak travel times for buying Xanax aboard. The easiest source to is to check the charts on Torn PDA or W3B to see when Xanax stock drains quickly and when it drains slowly. Usually, you can estimate a 15 minutes window for a stock to hit 0. But after Plunder is back, more muggers will make more Xanax runners because profit so good, stock will go down like crazy during peak hours and can drop to 0 in just 5 to 10 minutes.
Here is an example using my previous calculations for Japan:
Let’s say the next restock is estimated for 14:56 ( with a window from 14:46 to 15:06). Reaching that first restock with an airstrip is impossible, so you have to plan your flight to land during the second restock instead.
Check weekly data (on Torn PDA, W3B, or somewhere) to see draining speeds around 14:00 TCT. That's when players become more active, so stock won't last 25 to 30 minutes anymore, it should drops in about 10 to 15 minutes.
Using an average 15 minutes window we have this:
- With first restock estimate 14:46 + 15 minutes = 15:01 TCT (when stock hits 0).
- Then with second restock window just adding Xanax restock 2 hours cooldown: 15:01 + 02:00 = 17:01 TCT (so is will be around 16:51 to 17:11 TCT).
- Finally taking the earliest restock time (16:51 TCT) minus the 2 hours 29 minutes airstrip flight time means you should leave at 14:22 TCT.
That is for manual calculation. If you want less pain, there is a really good website that predicts stock times for traveling called Torn Travel Planner(https://www.torntravel.com/). However, you need the premium version to access the predicted stock times, and it doesn't work as well when Xanax stock drains quickly, causing the predictions to be inaccurate. Also when the stock drain rate isn't stable, you will keep missing the restocks. That is why if you use the site, you should depart 10 minutes before its predicted time. Again when Xanax drains too quickly, that is when you must calculate it manually because the website will keep giving you the wrong time.
STEP 2: Managing Your Money
Requesting a Banker (Safe)
The safest approach is to fly empty, pray, and request a money fill from your faction banker right before buying. However, if your faction doesn't have an active banker online, you'll waste a trip and have to buy plushies or flowers instead. You should carry a small amount of pocket cash for plushies and flowers as a Plan B if things go wrong. Or you can just wait for more 2 hours.
Carrying Money on Flight (Risky):
If your timing is precise, you can take the risk of carrying your money with you from the start. Landing exactly as Xanax restocks allows you to buy instantly within your 10-second landed window without fear of muggers.
Loans (banker but with friendship):
If you doubt your luck or timing, have a friend cover you, or ask in faction chat if someone can lend you ~$20m when you see Xanax restock.
STEP 3: After Landing
Even when you timing to land before Xanax restock early 10 - 15 mins, delays can happen. Muggers strike when you login frequently to check stock. Avoid doing genius moves like attacking someone with high level, losing on purpose, just to stay in the hospital for 20 minutes. That move will make more attention and people know you carry some cash. So to prevent that happen all you need to do is always stay with offline status. Basically like this:
- Keep your status offline until the exact moment Xanax restocks. This significantly reduces your chances of being targeted by random muggers.
- Monitor stock via web trackers (Weav3r stock travel or Prometheus) instead of opening Torn PDA. Prometheus site help you check current stock without any delay, whereas PDA ring can be delayed.
- If request a banker, you should call them on discord instead faction chat
- Keeping your character around level 30 to 40, that will keeps you on the middle pages of the user list abroad, where muggers rarely click. If you are on the last page, you will be an easy target for random mugs so you got to need to buy revive when Xanax restock.
If you got mugged, oh well that so bad hope you not cash out yet. And remember those tips:

Maintain radio silence (don't talk in chat or talk to mugger). PM to reviver for buy revive (or use request script or discord), do not ask at travel chat because mugger will camping you.

If Xanax still don't restock yet you can check them from website, just remember keep status offline so mugger not camping you.

Once Xanax restocked, ping your banker or friend, buy a revive, buy your Xanax quickly, and dip out.
