Have to say, even if it's beneficial for us, Torn staff absolutely should have made sure that ongoing RWs were grandfathered into the old rules. That's absolutely basic.
Also scripts are bypassing what appears to be a client-side protection system. Absolutely absurd.
Someone's doing code review at Torn LLC right? Like anyone? Was not even a single unit test written for an outside RW hit? My resume is still with your team otherwise :)
Very strange that you keep claiming we "abused a bug." The bug (one of the two bugs) was that outside hitters could bypass the merc protection. We are in the war. We are not outside hitters. It is physically impossible for any Xenon member to abuse a bug that specifically applies to other factions. This was communicated rapidly to merc groups when the bug was discovered to prevent them from accidentally using an exploit.
In any case, as we don't control what players from other factions do, it has nothing to do with Xenon. And as has been shown to you, your own mercs bypassed the merc protection window and prevented us from hitting your members. I assume that in the name of the fairness you claim to want to achieve, you are also offering us point compensation for the score we could not achieve due to your mercs abusing the bug? :)
On the other hand (re: the other bug), if you mean that we should not have been hitting your members and instead wait for the merc window because the new RW rules were improperly applied to our war, all I have to say is that's insanely stupid. You want some poor guy to hold a stopwatch and call every single hit once 60 seconds have elapsed? Is that what your side was doing, to avoid abusing the bug? :) We won't forfeit a war because of bad Torn code we have zero control over and have no responsibility for lmao. It's a shame that happened, but that's why your bug report exists -- because neither side has any control over that whatsoever.
At the end of the day, I think most (if not all) Xenon members that commented on your original thread agreed that it's unfair for you that the two bugs were introduced, yet here you are calling us cheaters. Sorry to say but Torn code issues are not Xenon's responsibility (or if they are I need to renegotiate the salary I should be getting).

You also recommend attacking weak targets which is fine -- but this means attacking with a different weapon first substantially increases the risk of losing the spooky bonus. You also would not be taking damage against weak targets so no reason at all to worry about med cooldowns.
These two recommendations cannot coexist.
