So this post is being made after a discussion in the bookies sticky with fluffy.

So i would like to see Esport betting come to the bookies of torn. For those of you who don't know about esports, It is organized multiplier video game competition. These commonly range from 1v1 games like hearthstone and starcraft 2 to 5v5 games like league of legends, DOTA and CS:GO.

There are massive followings for these esports even beating out many popular physical sporting events on viewership.
Some numbers from 2014 viewership
fifa world cup - 350 million views
UEFA final - 170 million views
winter Olympics opening - 140 million views
super bowl - 125 million views
League of legends finals 288 million views

So as you can see insanely popular.

Besides viewership, it is worth pointing out that legally LoL is considered a sport in those countries he listed(including the US). It went to a higher court for confirmation(since it is necessary for visa purposes) and was confirmed. Major companies(such as coca-cola) sponsor the regional leagues, using funds dedicated to sports advertising. Samsung runs their LoL team and their professional baseball team from the same office.

So why on this virtual game can we not bet on other virtual games but we can bet on physical games?
Help change this and get this thread to 100 rate-ups to get this considered by the mods :)

I joined Revengers early in the team draft, Before ED had. Yet the moment I seen his name in our forum I knew it was over for us.

I posted the above in our forum not after i seen his name as I hoped he would keep his trolling un-event related, but after I had seen him and his cronies running their mouths everywhere they could and claiming leadership of our team by force. I was mostly down-voted either by ED followers or my those hopeful people that still thought we had a chance. And although we are not out yet anything past a 12th finish would be a shock for me.

Most major bug exploits would not ruin an event for 1300 people. Why is this well known forum spammer and troll allowed to do it and get away with it?

so screen readers can read these now? thats good but at the expense of normal sighted people being able to read them, not sure about that trade.

Shut the f**k up, we don't like you, we don't want you.

Stop sharing the target on your back with us and do the honourable thing and quit the event. Only then will we have a chance.

Tried attacking through profiles, missions and bounties... all failed. Either malformed response or a 505 error.
