I am selling premium Mystery Boxes for $1.25m each. These mystery boxes contain 10 random items. I am a statistician in real life so figured I could bring this skill to Torn City.
Most people are sceptical, so allow me to explain how it works:
There are 10 Normal Items which the box can contain, and each of these is assigned a number 1-10. I then run a random number generator online to decide the contents of the box (duplicates allowed).
Normal items included range from junk ($500) to Speed (~$165k)
However, there are also Special Items, and if events occur which have a pre-calculated probability. The corresponding Special Item will take the place of the lowest value item in your box. As the value of special items go up, the probability of getting them in a box goes down.
Below is the list of Special Items and the probability of receiving them in a box:
Goose Juice (35%)
Lawyer Business Card (20%)
Xanax (10%)
Lottery Voucher (9%)
Erotic DVD (5.5%)
Drug Pack (3%)
Donator Pack (0.3%)
Provided the statistics work out, then each box should end up costing me an average of $1.1m, because it is a business after all and takes me time so I have about a 100k profit on each.. provided freak events don't happen. The main point of this business is for fun (as well as making a small bit of money). Some people will get lucky, some will get unlucky, it uses the same business model as scratch tickets. Only play for fun if you have the money to spare and are feeling lucky.
I must also mention I wanted there to be a very small probability of getting a bad box and was going to have it be a horse head..but instead I settled for a 0.8% probability of getting a box of hammers. But luckily I have not sent any of these yet.

Work stats spy report = 2 Xanax each
Full faction spies (or contracts larger than 15 spies) are liable to a 25% premium charge, simply because they are very boring and time consuming and I often have to turn away other customers while undergoing the contract.
When buying battle stats, work stats can be added to report for a cost of 1 xanax (applies to full and half spies)
Note that 'full' spy reports are 4/5 stats, the other can be deduced with arithmetic. If I by chance happen to get the 5th stat, I will include it. When doing half spies, I will give more than 2 stats each time I get more than 2 while attempting to get 2, at no extra charge.
