Shit ton of stats back in. Enabling a return to SSL for drugies would allow current SSL users to ditch SSL, use xanax, amass the stats and get back to SSL, if they choose so.
What about stacking E? Or using xan while warring or chaining? Or taking 1 a day regularly? I don't think an active player would throw those away casually.
Switching to SSL seems an attractive option for players, who aren't as active anymore.

Does that invalidate my opinion? Besides, every player would benefit by having one more option. This includes you. This includes SSL users. I've said this already. SSL users could switch to xanax, use it until rehab becomes expensive and switch back.
SSL users chose it willingly, they were not suckered into it, so complaints about what a pain it is don't do anything for me. Where is your empathy for casual players like me? I'm entitled as much as any other player. Perhaps a bit less because I'm not a subscriber.

Whether this is a good or bad idea is up for debate. You're on the other side of the argument and it will not affect you either way, so you are just as noble as OP.
So far I've seen only one coherent argument against: it will be a massive slap in the face of the current SSL users. That's it.
Reminds me of drug crime merits. I delayed my advance to 60 NNB(and PAs) for a year or more to get those merits. Then they changed CE loss and everyone could do it without murdering their CE. It still annoys me, when I think about it, but ultimately came to accept as a good thing. One less trap in the game.
