This game is all about diplomatic skills and lying.
It works like this: I will send out one random item to 5 different people who post in this thread. After the items are sent I will update this thread and make the names of the people I sent items to public, but I won't tell anyone which items I sent. If you want to win you will have to get the other participants to tell you. Maybe in exchange for telling them what you know, maybe you can pay them or threaten them with bounties. Be creative. But remember: this is torn, so lying and scaming aren't against the rules. The first one who tells me all items I sent out AND whom I sent each item to wins a DP. Tell me your answer in this thread and give us a rough idea why you think it is correct (If you don't tell us why, your entry will not be counted).
Only one guess per person every day (days of week - so you could try one minute before midnight and one minute after, torn time). Everyone can participate, even if I didn't send you an item. Obviously the 5 people wo got an item will have a small advantage. For the chance of beeing selected as item receiver simply include '/enter' in your reply to this thread. Depending on how many people want to participate it could be that you get a lot of messages if you got an item from me. If a person with an item hasn't been online in 24 hours I will make his/her item public (or make a riddle out of it).
I don't know if there has been a game like this before and I don't know how well it works. If anyone has any good suggestions I could still slightly change some rules before it starts. I also don't have a name for this game yet, suggestions are welcome.
Edit: if you guess an item that I did not send out at all I will also tell you in some way. You don't have to tell us your own item when trying to solve if you received one.
China hasn't recived that much foreign aid since like 20 years as far as I know.
Now the US just sends over a couple mil to found 'pro democracy' movements (aka trying to destabilize china). That's a big part of how the riots in HK are funded. So that really is solely for US interests.
I wouldn't want to spoon feed you, so I am not telling you why this paper is completely irrelevant here. But I am sure you can figure it out if you read it.
Hint: look at the list ouf countries closely and see if you can find Chile on it.
Telling people they are wrong but not why is just stupid, pointless and shows that you actually have no idea what you are talking about. Not even a vague hint, just straight nothingness from you.
If you are saying that it can be traced back to the USA through pinochet: so what? You think the people should start a war with the USA instead of keeping it in Chile?
Nvm, I know you won't answer with anything but: "find out yourselfe".
Edit: by the way, I am right anyway. Pinochet started the neolib policies and the government after him continued it (privatising everything in the process).
Well yes. It is a understandable reaction to the riots. But the riots are also an understandable reaction to the chilean government's neoliberal politic. Reactionaries will say that it is just about the price increase but there is a lot more to it. Pensions, salaries, coruption, privatised water,...
My point was that it woulnd't be that much easier to get as many people here seem to think.
But now that ched changed the description for the keen merit it is also fine. It just seemed more like an oversight to me that the other spy specials don't count.
Spying is never really something you want to do anyways. Getting the merit in a player owned company wouldn't be that much better than getting it in the army. People itt act like it would be a free merit.
In the army it would take 100 days to get this (+the time you need to reach general rank).
In a 10* law firm it would take 100 days too. (but the other specials are not very good for most players)
In a 10* TV it would take 150 days to get the merit. (but you need high working stats to get into one and the 10* special would be better)
(I don't think there are more companies with spying specials?)
You also won't get payed in most 10* companies.
Like I said the reason I made this suggestion is not to make it easier but to make it more coherent.
