Sorry that I wasn't any help - I had to opt out. All those entries are worth winning, this was the most funny thing I read for a while here on Torn. :)
Successfull in driving away an obviously new player from Torn, in showing that you are not capable in admitting you just made a mistake and in showing a big ego, yes.
But ofc it's not up to me to decide how you want to play this game. Just saying that the measure of "success" is a very personal one.
What I don't understand is, when you didn't had the impression it could be considered a bug (and thus you exploiting a bug), why did you report it then?

I have been different, though, not here but in other games. Which had hilarious outcomes - several years ago I attended a wedding in Netherlands (living in Germany myself). The bride was from Canda. We all met on an Internet browser game. We still meet now and then, so yes, you can get real friends even on a silly browser game.

I agree with you, Nadbash - Thanksgiving was always one of my favorite celebrations. Putting all the political stuff aside, it's a good idea to thank God or fate or whatever for a good harvest and that you have food on your table.
Even in our industrial, western societies we (or at least our children or grandchildren, when you are as old as I am) might have times ahead where this isn't granted anymore.

This - the huge amount of people who don't care about the forum, have their small group of friends and just play the game, without the need of attention apart from their small group of friends.
I don't think the trolls are chaos - chaos is the void state, before anything came into being. Trolls are just attention-seekers.

Played it many, many years ago, was the 1st browser game I ever played.. I remember one age where some guy found a sort of exploit, can't really rememer what it was - usually your goal was to get more and more land, people, etc., but he did something of the contrary and suddenly got super-powers. That was until he hit a wall (I think he grow so bit that the program had an integer overflow or something) and suddenly was wide open to attacks.
Anyway, I remember the Utopian players as very dedicated, will be a great contribution to Torn.

First thats a "contradictio in adiecto" - you say karma isn't important, but your first impulse is to run to the forum to make a post about it.
